Chapter 30: Marriage Shoot

Aki yawned as she got out of her room. She could hear a rustle in the background which meant that the other occupants were already up.

"Good Morning-

"Good morning Aki-nee. Breakfast is on the table over there."

Aki blinked in surprise. She didn't expect that Y/N already prepared a meal in such an early time

"Hey, Y/N!"

Y/N and Aki looked at Nami in the doorway

"Hurry up and get ready!"

"Hang on a second, Nami." replied Y/N as she took off her apron in a flash

"You should have prepared ahead of time, idiot!" Nami went out first while Y/N changed into another attire

"We're leaving, Aki-nee."

"Ah, Hang on a second, Y/N."

Aki approached Y/N and fixed her clothes

"Your shirt is buttoned up the wrong way."

"Ah- Thanks, Aki-nee." Y/N sheepishly said. "Nami is in such a hurry so I didn't take note of it."

"You've been getting along well with Nami. I suppose you guys already made up?"

"Right.. I think so." said Y/N with a thoughtful look.

"That's good. Getting along with each other is the most important thing." Aki remarked with a small smile.

"Hey, Y/N. Are you done changing?" Nami peeked from behind the door and Y/N nodded

Y/N and Nami arrived at the venue. They waited for a few minutes until they saw Kana enter from the church doors

Y/N awed at Kana's appearance. The girl didn't wear her glasses and she was dressed up in a wedding gown.

"Sumiya-san looks pretty. She's like a different person with her attire and make-up today." Thought Y/N as Kana stood in front of Nami

"E-Even though I'm inexperienced.. Please take care of me."

"Kana.." Nami deadpanned. "I'm telling you, you've got the groom wrong."

Kana blushed and grew embarrassed

"S-sorry! I can't see that well without my glasses."

"Ah, you came after all, Nami-chan."

The three looked behind and saw a tall man approaching them. A young girl was also accompanying him and she rushed to hug Nami

"Nami-oneesama!"

"Oh, Ria! You're really energetic." said Nami as she caught the girl

"You're Y/N-chan, right?" Y/N looked at the man and nodded

"Hai. Good day, sir."

"I'm Kana's father. Kana's been gossiping a lot about you lately. Sorry if we're asking too much of you today."

"Ah- It's okay, sir." Y/N said in dismissal

"You see, I work as a photographer and in order to take photos for a wedding magazine, I have to find models which will act as the bride and groom." The man cupped his chin in thought.

"The deadline is 2 days from now and it will take some time to find regular models so I just asked Kana instead."

Y/N hummed in response and the man instructed her to change into her outfits.

"You can wear this tuxedo and use this one for your hair. Afterwards, you and Kana need to walk in the aisle. I will take pictures from there."

"Understood."

After changing, Y/N and Kana immediately started the task. The man took pictures and also instructed the two to pose in a certain way.

After the photoshoot, the group shared a meal in one of the rooms located in the back of the church

"Are you worn-out, Y/N-chan?" asked the man in concern

"Ah-No. I'm fine, sir."

"Hey pops. Are you really okay with such a wimpy groom?" asked Nami in a teasing tone while looking at Y/N

"Well, she's certainly a lovely bride- groom, in this case. And even if that may be true." the man made a few camera angles with his fingers. "When I set her in the frame, she fits the role quite nicely."

The man stared at Y/N

"At this rate, Y/N-chan, we might end up needing to plan a real ceremony."

"F-Father!" protested Kana with a blush

The sound of a phone ringing resonated in the room and the man excused himself to answer it.

"Anyways, this is mysterious."

"W-What is mysterious, Ria?" Kana cleared her throat to get rid of her earlier embarassment

"Well, Kana-oneesama, up until now, you always refused father's requests for you to model for him."

Kana blinked and looked down

"That's...."

"Really?" Y/N glanced at Nami to see if she knew about it. Nami seemed to be in deep thoughts and was just staring ahead

"I'm sorry, Minna." The man said once he returned. "An urgent job came up.. so I have to end our photoshoot here. I'd hoped we'd at least be able to have a meal together, but.."

"I see. Well, then we better -

"No, it's okay. This church is rented for tonight. So please just relax and take your time." spoke the man to Y/N

"I'll leave the rest to you Kana."

"Ah- Hai."

After the man left, Nami decided to take Ria for a stroll. She made an excuse so as to give privacy for Y/N and Kana.

"Okay. Make sure you'll be back before it gets dark, Nami." said Y/N

"Of course. I just want to bond with Ria." Nami hugged the girl. "It's okay, right, Kana?"

Kana caught Nami's wink and she timidly nodded

"O-Of course. Have fun, you two."

"You too, hehe." spoke Nami teasingly before she and Ria left

"Nami-oneesama."

Nami looked at the girl

"Are Kana-oneesama and Y/N-oneesama going to get married?"

"Well... seems like your father recognizes them."

"Eh? What do you mean?"

Nami stared ahead as they walked down the stairs

"I'm saying, that the possibility of them getting married is high."

"Oh.. Kana-oneesama with Y/N-oneesama." Ria made a thinking expression. She then broke into a smile

"Then, I certainly have to root for them! If that happens, Nami-oneesama and I will become actual sisters!"

Nami just smiled faintly at the girl

"That's right."

Silence fell betweem them until Ria asked once again

"Nami-oneesama, I don't really understand."

"Understand what?"

"Up until now..whenever the camera is pointed at Kana-oneesama, she was always shy and would turn and run away. And now, Kana-oneesama is suddenly...."

"It's because her partner is Y/N."

"Eh?"

Nami and Ria stopped near a bridge. They felt the gentle breeze as they leaned on the railings

"If it's for the sake of someone you love, you can change... you can change anything. That's the reason." Nami explained

"Anything?"

"Yep." Nami stared at the distance as she got immersed in her thoughts.

"Anything."
