The Becoming

Meredith: There's this person. In my head. She is brilliant, capable. She can do chest tubes and craniotomies. She can run a code without freaking out. She's a really good surgeon. Maybe even a great surgeon. She's me. Only so much better.

Meredith: "Has Cristina seen it?"

Izzie: "Let's take it down." she goes to grab it but Meredith stops her

Meredith: "You can't take it down."

Izzie: "Take it down. Take it down. She never has to know." she pushes Audrey towards the wall a little

Audrey: "She's gonna hear about it."

Cristina: "Who's gonna hear about what?" she comes over and they block her view of the board 

Izzie: "Ah!" she groans a little when she hits her head a little

Cristina: "Izzie. Move your hand. Oh, come on. Move it" she pushes Izzie out the way and looks at the article posted on the board before turning to face them "Good for him." she nods, walking off and they watch her soft looks

George: "I need your form" he slams a tray onto the table Alex is lying his head on "Lexie, I and you to fill out a form. Audrey I need your..." he trails off, turning to look at her and she raises her eyebrows at him before he pulls it back "Right. Nevermind."

Lexie: "What's this?"

Alex: "The sex police." he groans

George: "Meredith, I'm gonna need your form."

Meredith: "Don't ask, don't tell, George. Forms are stupid."

Geroge: "Yeah, I'm still gonna need it, though. Pen?"

Leixe: "I..."

Rose: "I, um...think I'll need one of those after all." she comes over and whispers to George but the others can hear

Geroge: "What? Why?"

Rose: "Um..."

George: "Oh. I'll just, um..." he slides on out his clipboard and she quickly grabs it 

Rose: "Thank you."

Lexie: "Oh, God. I'm so sorry."

George: "Do you want me to get Cristina?"

Meredith: "Derek is with Rose, and I'm okay that Derek is with Rose." she nods with a smile

George: "Get Cristina. Get her form." he says into a recorder

Lexie: "Uh, you...you don't want to go near Cristina right now."

Meredith: "Why, is she crying?"

Lexie: "No."

Audrey: "Is she staring straight ahead being super-scary quiet?"

Lexie: "She's singing."

Audrey/Meredith: "Oh." they say, getting up and heading to the morgue

George: "I still need your form."

Cristina: "You're so fine and you're mine..." she sings as the pair enter the room

Audrey: "Stop singing."

Cristina: "Make me strong yeah, you make me bold 'cause your love thawed out..."

Meredith: "You're gonna win your own Harper Avery award."

Cristina: "Yeah, your love..."

Audrey: "Burke wouldn't have a career..."
