Cristina: "I talked to Callie last night about the residents at Mercy West. She said they don't suck" she scoffs, stepping onto the elevator with Meredith beside her "You're safe because of Derek. Izzie's safe 'cause of cancer. Audrey's safe cause of Zachary. Alex is Bailey's new favorite. Even George would've been spared, 'cause he's Owen's guy. Cardio has been a revolving door around here, and no one's got my back."

Meredith: "So Arizona is your cover?"

Cristina: "She's merger-proof. She keeps little kids alive. No one likes a dead kid. Plus, they're under anesthesia half the time. How bad can it be?" she shrugs, stepping off the elevator when the doors open and Meredith gives her a look before shaking her head

Meredith: You're ready to close, you got the bleeder, you know it, but there's that voice in your head asking..."What if you didn't? What if the patient dies and you could've prevented it?" So you check your work one more time before you close. Paranoia's a surgeon's best friend.

Derek: "Karev, what do you got?" he questions, coming into the O.R. with Mark beside him

Alex: "16-year-old helmeted dirt bike victim. G.C.S. 15 reported before intubation."

Derek: "Okay. On my count. Ready? One, two, three."

Alex: "I'm gonna scrub in." he nods after they transfer the bed to the O.R. table

Derek: "So he announces a merger, and then he shuts himself in his office all day and refuses to talk to anybody."

Mark: "This merger won't affect us. It's just a financial restructuring."

Derek: "What do you think restructuring is? Cutting personnel. Are you prepared to lose all the good people? I'm not. Hey, tell Hunt he's good to go. I'll write up a consult later. I'm gonna go talk to Richard right now." he declares, storming out the room as Mark watches him

Mark: "You're tired. You're angry. You're gonna say something you'll regret. Get outta here for a while. Go to the driving range, hit a bucket of balls."

Derek: "I have a surgery in an hour."

Mark: "So take a walk" he stops in front of him, making Derek sigh "Grab Meredith, take a walk."

Derek: "Meredith won't leave the hospital. None of 'em will."

Lexie: "Coming through!" she calls out from down the hall

Derek: "Everyone's awaiting word from on high. Hell, even Audrey came back weeks before her maternity was over" he scoffs "Look, don't tell me Lexie's not worried." he motions to said woman who runs through the doors

Lexie: "Is he in there?! 'Cause I've got the-oh!" tripping over her feet she falls to the ground, dropping the bags of blood in her hands which makes is spill onto the ground and all over her clothes

Mark: "No. Lexie's worried."

Audrey: "Thank you" she smiles at the cashier, taking the cup of coffee from their hands before turning to look at Zachary "Stop trying to calm me down. You're not good at it."

Zachary: "I'm just saying, there's no reason to be nervous."

Audrey: "I have spent the better part of five years here. I have friends here, family. And in a few days I might get a piece of paper that says I am no longer an employee here."
