Make Me Lose Control

Meredith: Surgeons are control freaks. With a scalpel in your hand, you feel unstoppable. There's no fear, there's no pain. You're 10 feet tall and bulletproof. And then you leave the O.R. And all that perfection. All that beautiful control just falls to crap.

Audrey: "How'd your jog go this morning?" she asks Meredith and Cristina as they all stand in the locker room

Meredith: "You were supposed to come with us."

Audrey: "Yeah, I don't jog." she shakes her head before taking the last few sips on her coffee and throwing the cup away

George: "That's like the third cup you had this morning."

Audrey: "Didn't get a lot of sleep last night." she shrugs

Meredith: "Talking on the phone for hours will do that to you. Who was it?"

Audrey: "No one." she shakes her head and goes to grab something from her lock

Cristina: "What is she doing?" they look over at where Izzie and Alex are standing outside laughing together

Audrey: "She's hanging out with Alex."

Cristina: "Why?"

George: "I dunno. I think...I think they might be friends" they watch as the two continue to laugh quietly "Make the lambs stop screaming." he whispers and the three slowly turn to look at him and he quickly walks off

Izzie: "You guys are wrong about him, alright? Once you get to know him, he's really sweet." she says as they follow behind Bailey down the hall

George: "He's Alex."

Cristina: "Punk ass."

Alex: "Hey Grey. Izzie was telling me you have tapes of your mom performing surgery. I'd kill to see the Ellis Grey in action."

Izzie: "Hey you know what? Maybe you can come over tonight and we can all watch it together? Right?"

Meredith: "Oh yeah, if this were a hell dimension."

Cristina: "Yeah, run away pig boy."

George: "Do you have a thing for Alex?" he stands in front of her

Izzie: "No."

Audrey: "Oh." she groans

Izzie: "I don't."

Audrey: "Oh!" she groans again

Bailey: "Are we saving lives or having a tea party? Walk faster people." she calls out and they quickly catch up

Cristina: "Mr. Gaston is scheduled for resection non-small cell carcinoma today. He did well overnight, has remained afebrile" she says and Meredith and Audrey notice the glances back and forth between herself and Burke "He's had a dose of ceftriaxone this morning. He's pre-op labs are unremarkable. His chest x-rays, um, are unchanged from the previous."

Mr. Gaston: "I own a couple of dry-cleaning stores. Never believed what they said about inhaling the chemicals, but..."

Burke: "We're going to do everything we can for you, Mr. Gaston. Did Oncology see him yet?"

Cristina: "Uh, they're waiting for the surgical path."

Burke: "Thank you, Dr. Yang."

Cristina: "You're welcome, Dr. Burke."

Audrey: "I just think you should at least still tell him about the baby." she whispers to Cristina and Meredith when they follow Bailey to another room
