"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

                                    ---Maya Angelou

"That was an excuse my dad was made. Aadhya stayed in the hospital for half a year and almost didn't survive. After she woke up, she couldn't remember anything. She was just like another person and doctors said she has amnesia, which could be temporary or permanent depending on her environment. She didn't forget you, she forgot everything.

The doctors said it might be the side effect of poison used but they can't able to figure out which chemical is used, so they can't treat it and also said Aadhya was feeling unsafe. She became an introvert, even she likes something, she won't express it. Attayya and mavayya know about these all things."

"Why didn't no one told me all these things, do you think I don't deserve to know about Aadhya...... Anyway that's all was because of me, if I had not left her that day and protected her all the time by her side all these may not have happened, " Abhi said as tears welled up in his eyes.

"That's why we didn't let you know. You were young then and if we let you know all these, you will keep blaming yourself all your life. It's us to blame for not taking good care of her, " Ani consoled him.

"Did you caught the person who poisoned her?" Abhi asked.

"No, the person who poisoned her suddenly committed suicide, by the time we reach him and we can't find the main culprit behind the screen even we send our private detectives.

Grandpa doubted that it might be his business rivals so, he changes her identity, took her with him and made her recover at home without exposing her identity to the outside world. Later Aadhya recognised us slowly and regained her memories but she still didn't remember the whole things happened in her childhood.

Even though her mind could not remember, her heart remembered the fragrance of her memories. Aadhya used to cry because she misses someone whom she can't recall. She learns the violin again for that certain person whom she didn't know whether he is real or not. Even after all these years she still loves you again because her heart recognised you, though she didn't remember you.

Maybe it's because she lost you all before so she was afraid of losing. The more she likes something or someone the more afraid she is."

"Does Aadhya know that she was poisoned?", Abhi asked.

" No, she didn't when she asked we said she injured her head so forgot everything. Abhi, I hope you can take good care of her and don't let her feel insecure because her heart is still very fragile."

" I promise you Ani, I will take care of her and protect her with all my heart till my last breath, " Abhi replied seriously.

" I believe in you bro, but you've only passed my test today and you have not passed her sister-in-law's. Be prepared to face her scalpel, " Ani chuckled and said as he stood up.

Abhi smiled in response. " I'm going to go back to Vizag, see you tomorrow." After saying this Ani left from there.

Anirudh acknowledged Abhi. He built his fortune, kept a low profile, have a good family, never did anything reckless and can see that he loves Aadhya dearly. Based on these points, he was worthy of his sister.

On the other side....

At morning, when Aadhya went downstairs, she saw her aunt's family already there. She greeted and took blessings from them. They all had their breakfast and got ready for shopping.

"Princess, we are going for shopping, let's go, you can choose your dress yourself, " Radha said.

"No, attayya, I have a severe headache and usually my brother and sister-in-law are the ones who choose my dresses. So Anu vadina can choose for me."

"Did you take medicine, are you having fever also, shall we go to the doctor?" Radha asked worriedly.

"No attayya, it's just headache only, I'll be alright after some rest, " Aadhya replied.

"Are you sure you are okay?"

"Ha attayya."

"Then you take rest, Arjun will be here within an hour, he will keep you company and if you need anything call us immediately okay!!" Radha caressed her hair affectionately.

With that, they all left to shopping and to do other arrangements leaving Aadhya at home.

While Aadhya was sitting on a swing in the garden, she heard someone calling her.

"Sunshine......"

Aaradhya turned to see a tall, slim man, wearing a white shirt and black trousers standing in front of her. He seems to be 1 or 2 years older than her.

"Uhh, do I know you?" Aadhya asked.

His eyes widened at her question.

"Don't you remember me?" He was surprised to find that Aadhya didn't know him.

"I'm Arjun, " he introduced himself.

"Umm...sorry I forget many things from my childhood so I can't recall you, by the way, how do you know about the name 'Sunshine', only my brother used to call me that?" Aadhya asked.

"Ahh...we all used to call you that in childhood, " Arjun smiled warmly at her, "where is Ani, I haven't seen him for ages, " Arjun asked while taking a seat.

"He went to Bangalore, will be back by evening."

Then he took out a box which has her favourite chocolate logo and handed it to her." This is for you."

"This is...." Aadhya looked at him surprised.

"My brother send this to you."

Aadhya thanked him and he asked, " can I address you as Vadina (sister-in-law)?"

"Um, " Aadhya nodded her head and asked "are you okay with me being your sister-in-law."

"Yeah, I'm super happy that my childhood sweet friend and cousin is going to be my vadina. My brother and you will look good together, both of us can join and irritate my brother." Arjun said chuckling and continued

My opinion doesn't matter vadina, your consent is important. My brother is a workaholic, always busy with work and he doesn't mingle with people, cold to outside. Please take care of him Vadina. After marriage you can study or work, you'll get all facilities there and you don't have to do any chores at home and you don't have to fear about my parents, in fact, they dot on you more than us, you will know when you come to our home."

After that Arjun told her about their childhood incidents, their silly banters.

Aadhya thought that he was quite friendly, excessively frank and easy to get along with.

The night came only as swift as a blink of an eye. After dinner, Arjun's family returned to their home which they newly bought and was one and half hour drive from Aadhya's bungalow.

After talking with her brother, Aadhya returned to her room and get a call from......
