Sorry I'm like, killing you all with chapters.

Y/n checked the clock on the wall. It read 11:58. She sighed. The girl twisted and turned in her bed. She just couldn't get comfortable. Two minutes and it is Ray's birthday, huh. She then drifted off to sleep...Ten minutes later, she heard a loud crash and explosion. She brushed it off. It's probably Thoma or Lannion sneaking into the kitchen. Y/n then drifted off to sleep.

The girl once again, woke up. She looked around and began coughing. There was no one in the beds around her but instead, smoke. Her coughing became worse. A fire! She realized. The girl jumped out of bed and hurried to Norman's old drawer. She grabbed the pen, feeling it was more important than anything else she owned. She then ran out the door.

The girl was getting woozy. She heard rapid footsteps somewhere, probably going down the stairs. Y/n tried to yell for help, but she kept coughing. Still having a bad arm, she leaned against the wall. She desperately prayed for help. Her knees were weak and she fell to the ground.

Suddenly, she felt two arms help her to her feet. She couldn't see who it was. They helped her downstairs and outside. "Come on, we have to go to the wall, right now." They said.

She peeked an eye open. "Ray?" He smiled down at her as he continued to assist her through the forest. The boy helped her lie down on a log. She felt several other children around her.

"Y/n!"

"What happened to her?!"

"She got caught up in the fire."

"Is she dying!?!??!"

"No, don't worry."

Ray took a stick. "Y/n, you're going to feel some pain right now." He said. Like those many years ago, he stabbed her ear. He plucked the tracker out and chucked it in the direction of the house. He then pulled some bandages from his pack that the other siblings brought. He wrapped it shut so no germs could get inside. Y/n coughed some of the smoke out. She felt much better now. She hugged Ray. He was caught off guard, but he enjoyed it.

"Sorry for the wait, guys!" Emma shouted. She held a medical pad to the side of her head where her ear should've been.

"Emma..." Y/n said.

"Y/n! I'm glad you're safe!" Emma exclaimed.

"That ear... You need to properly clean and wrap it." Y/n told her. You're going to get sick.

"I'm fine!" Emma replied. "You can address it when we're safe. Right now, we need to go to the wall." She turned to the younger siblings. "Did you make sure to destroy your transmitters?" She asked. They all nodded.

The group of children began running towards the high wall. Y/n still felt weak, so Don carried her on his shoulders while Ray held his pack. Ray ran beside Don. "Don, what's going on? Do all of these guys know what's going on? About Mama, the house's secret, how we're gonna run away?"

"Yup." The boy simply answered. "Emma told em! First, only Anna, Nat, Thoma, and Lannion knew. We used all of our possible resources. The first four listened to the door when Norman and Emma talked to Krone." That far back?! Ray thought. That means... "Over these past two months, the real guys who were Emma's right hand were Anna, Nat, Thoma, and Lannion. We also told the rest of the kids gradually over a course of time."

The group arrived at the wall. Y/n got off Don's shoulders. She thought she felt a hand on her back. She looked over. It was Norman. He smiled at her. Although she knew he wasn't there, she smiled back.
