Hello! I was reviewing some of the messages I had and I came across one for this book. It was a friendly reminder to update this!
A fair portion of this chapter is influenced/centered by Chapter 181.7: A Mother's Determination (with some twists). So, if you haven't read it, go do that! Can be found on many websites.

"Mama...!!"
"That's right, my children."
Y/n's heart and breath fell to the pit of her stomach. Her hand searched for Ray's, ready to dash. However, something inside her prevented her from moving her planted feet.
"What are you doing here, mama?" Ray breathed out.
The older woman smiled and waved her hand. "Ah, tut tut, children. That is of minimal importance. Right now, I am here to celebrate you two's accomplishment!" Y/n's chest lost the breath and courage. "You two have learned what this world is about. I've picked up the main story from small chatter amongst the girls... You two have started something grand, trying to unite them."
Y/n and Ray's mouths tightened.
"I have been instated as grandma, head of this plantation. I have great faith in you." Isabella offered her hands to the children. The two hesitantly place their hands in hers. "I believe a discussion between the three of us absolutely must take place."
"And where will this occur?" Y/n inquired. Isabella was guiding the two down the narrow hallway. Demons and humans alike paled at the sight of the small children hand in hand with the frightening new grandma. They would frantically move against the wall to allow the three to pass through the hall.
A similar thought ran through the witnessing female candidates' minds... That Y/n and Ray's authority were absolute. It was established that they were the most competent, cunning, and even had items in their inventory from the outside world that others knew nothing of. Now, seeing these unstoppable prodigies with the new grandma who had a legacy known across many plantations only instilled more submission into their hearts.
Isabella stopped before a door and took out a chain of keys. Y/n and Ray intently observed each key her fingers slipped through. Once she found the key, she gave both of them a familiar glance that spoke volumes, "Don't even try it." Pushing the door open, she made way for the children to enter before her. The two cautiously entered, processing what was inside.
The room, much like the hallways and other rooms i the plantation, had plain white walls. There were a few cabinets along the wall with a tall counter that the two children could not see the top of. In the center of the room was a desk with a floating screen with words on it. The two were immediately drawn to it. They both hopped onto the chair in front of it and started tapping it.
"Ohh... Fascinating." Ray commented. "This is much more advanced than the technology I got from our toys."
"Look at how the display changes based on this little thing, too." Y/n pointed to the small port that seemed to be the source.
Ray smirked at their Mama. "Should've asked for this, huh?"
"Yes, that would be quite the engaging reward, wouldn't it?" Isabella hummed, the usual grin on her countenance. "But, you two... what do you plan to do once you unify the candidates?"
Y/n and Ray's attention focused on the woman. It's not like it's a secret or anything. We're basically just asserting our authority so we don't run into as many problems in the future. Maybe decreasing the amount of death as we go if possible... So even if we didn't tell her, she'd see our intention anyway. This seems like an information exchange, so might as well tell her now.
