Over the years, Rose has learned how to be self-reliant. Her childhood had been lonely and unforgiving to Rose. However, she survived coming out the other end as a strong-willed and intelligent young woman.
After a series of bad choices, Rose's fami...

"What the fuck is your problem?" Naomi yelled at me after the first block in the hallway. She pushed me into the lockers and looked extremely pissed off. At first, I look at her like she is crazy, but then I remember what she was talking about. I roll my eyes and turn around and attempt to walk away.
"You hang out with Rebecca. After Rose just got into a fight with her. Not to mention Rebecca is a traitorous whore?!" She yelled at me, catching a few people's attention.
"It's not my problem about what their feud is. Rebecca is a good fuck, and where I stick my dick shouldn't be your problem," I said, getting annoyed.
"What their feud is? All you are doing is making it clear to Rose she isn't welcome around all of us because you chose to stick your dick in an STD-riddled bitch. I hope you get a disease," Naomi said, disgusted before walking away.
All I was trying to do was get a reaction out of Rose. That and she wanted to play a game, and I don't fucking lose. Petty, I know. This isn't the smartest idea I have had, maybe the dumbest. Now I am in for it. I invited Rebecca to sit with us at lunch, knowing good and well, Rose would be there.
I'm starting to regret this whole scheme. I have already gotten shit from Dane, who has a considerable distaste for Rebecca. Mainly because Rebecca used to bully Naomi, and they got pretty close over the years. I assume that she told him. However, Naomi told us she isn't bothered that we associate with Rebecca.
The second block went by fast, and now it was showtime, or shall I say a fight to the death. Walking into the lunchroom, people avoided eye contact and stayed out of my way. I get lunch and walk over to the table with the twins, Dane, Carter, Matteo, and Noah. The girls still weren't here yet. I guess I spoke too soon because I felt someone grab onto my arm before getting to the table.
I was looking towards the culprit, and I see Rebecca looking at me dreamily. I internally roll my eyes at that. I have told her repeatedly that we are nothing more than a casual hookup, but she seems to have her fairytale. I don't say anything to her, and we walk to the table. The lunch tables are picnic table style. Rebecca and I sit on the bench in front of the twins and Carter. Matteo and Noah are sitting on the bench with us.
There were two seats open on the other side. Everyone at the table looks at Rebecca, and then me giving me the 'what the hell are you thinking' look. I'm starting to think that also. The few times Rebecca has sat with us, it has not ended well. She always says something slick to Naomi that we all pretend didn't happen.
All of them continue their conversation, acting like Rebecca wasn't sitting there. I see Rose and Naomi walking over to the table. Now is time for the show to begin. They sit down, and I see Rebecca give them a nasty glare, especially Rose. You couldn't see the bruising on Rebecca because of all the makeup she piled on her face.
Naomi starts eating, and before she can put anything in her mouth, Rebecca says something.
"Are you sure you should eat that?" Rebecca asks Naomi. All conversation at the table stopped. Dane looked absolutely over Rebecca's shit, and she barely said anything. I would jump in and say something to Rebecca, but it's not my place. Naomi sets down her food and gets up out of the chair, taking her tray with her. We all watch Naomi walk over to the trash and throw her food away before walking out of the cafeteria.
Dane got up and walked after her, not before sending a harsh glare to Rebecca. That has never happened before. Usually, Naomi would say something back to Rebecca. Not just walking away. Now the guilt was starting to eat away at me for this even happening.
Rose had been quiet during the whole ordeal. I looked towards her, and she looked calm, too calm. I could tell Rebecca was itching for a reaction, any reaction an all from Rose. Rebecca hadn't been given the satisfaction yet. Rose was looking down at her tray of food tearing apart the roll they gave us at lunch.
Finally, Rose looked up and made direct eye contact with Rebecca. Her pupils were dilated more than usual. I could basically feel the threatening atmosphere surrounding her. Rebecca stiffened at the sudden movement.
"Rebecca Staton?" Rose asked Rebecca. She nodded her head in confirmation, seeming to have lost her words. "Daughter of Laney Staton and Red Staton?" Rose asked her, listing off her parent's name. "Your mother is a successful real estate agent. Your father owns property all over New York," Rose said knowingly.
"You see, I did some research on you yesterday, and I found out some interesting things. Usually, I wouldn't waste my time on someone so irrelevant," Rose said, letting out a sickly laugh at the end of her sentence. "They are known as the power couple. Getting out of bankruptcy together, falling in love, having a beautiful daughter, you'd think all of that would go away if the couple, I don't know, broke up, or one of them had an affair?" Rose asked. Her questions seemed to be bizarre, but I heard Rebecca's breathing fasten its pace.
"Leah Craw," Rose said the name with mischief. Obviously, the name meant something because Rebecca stood up and slammed her hands on the table.
"What do you want?" Rebecca asked in a panicked tone.
"What I want? Double cross me or any of the people at this table, including Dane and Naomi. I will fucking end you and your pathetic family," Rose said, rising to Rebecca's level. The negotiation seemed to catch the cafeteria's attention because it was so silent you could hear a pin drop. "Also, you apologize to Naomi. No, you beg for forgiveness. These conditions will change whenever I won't unless you want me to tell more secrets that I came upon yesterday. Do you understand?" Rose asked Rebecca. She nodded, but it wasn't enough confirmation for Rose.
"Use your fucking words," Rose said, on the verge of making all chaos break lose.
"I understand," Rebecca said to Rose, diverting her eyes to the table, avoiding Rose's strict glare. A wicked smirk made its way onto Rose's face. She indeed was the goddess of evil. Even while she makes people bow down at her feet, she still looked godly while doing it.
"Leave," Rose said, leaving no room for argument. Rebecca got up, taking her tray with her keeping her eyes downcast, and walked out of the lunchroom. Rose sat down and continued eating as if she hadn't just given an unknown threat. The lunchroom remained silent for the rest of the lunch period until the bell rang for the third block. It remained silent in the halls as well.
Everyone could sense the oncoming danger known as Rose Giordano.
