Over the years, Rose has learned how to be self-reliant. Her childhood had been lonely and unforgiving to Rose. However, she survived coming out the other end as a strong-willed and intelligent young woman.
After a series of bad choices, Rose's fami...

For some weird reason, everyone was sitting at dinner Monday night. Lucifer, Noah, Matteo, Dane, Carter, and Naomi were all here. All of them were talking about something that didn't interest me at all. I have more significant problems. Such as planning someone's doom. Now I am deciding If I want help or not.
"What do you guys think about revenge?" I said, seemingly out of the blue. Everyone's conversation's halt and all attention have been directed to me. Any other time I would dislike this, but now I need an opinion. Yeah, I know it's weird for Rose to want to know what people think about my next move.
"It all depends on how you deal with your revenge dealing," Carlo started making no sense at all. He sees my confusion and sighs. "Is it going to eat you alive and swallow you whole, or does this person just really deserves it?" Carlo said, trying again. It somewhat made sense? But not really.
"What the dumbass is trying to say is don't let the need to get revenge to destroy you. Don't let it be the reason you get up every morning," Gino explained thoroughly compared to Carlo. For some reason, those explanations did not suffice. I look towards Darlo, hoping maybe he has an opinion.
"Why do you ask Rose?" Darlo said, asking the question everyone is itching to hear. Mother fucker, what am I going to tell him in front of everyone. Okay, my options are to say to him the truth or lie.
"I remember everything," I said before I can even correctly digest my options. It's like my mind knew I couldn't do everything on my own and survive. If this had happened last month, I wouldn't have cared when my last breath took place. I probably would have even hoped for it to come sooner, but now a small place in my mind is rooting for me to be happy.
"What do you mean everything?" Darlo said, acting as if he doesn't know what I'm talking about. It was pin-drop silence, even the new additions that had no idea what was happening. I could tell everyone was on edge from my last statement. My intentions are not to drag them into this but to let them know I will be seeking my revenge whether they like it or not.
I take a deep breath realizing that I couldn't back out now. I stood up, taking the envelope out of my back pocket stained with my blood handing it to Gino to my left. Gino opened the envelope and read over the letter. His eyes grew darker, and he looked angrier than I have ever seen him.
"When did you get this?" Gino states eerily calm after he passes it to Giani. This was the part I was nervous about. I got mad at them because they kept a secret from me, but I did not tell them things.
"Thursday night," I said after collecting my thoughts. Giani had already passed the letter to Romeo, who was reading over it and examining the envelope. Giani looked unimpressed by my response. Why I have no idea? Well, maybe a small idea. Eventually, the envelope made it around to all of my brothers and Darlo. He looked over the letter before calmly putting it down.
"I'm not telling you because I need your approval. I'm telling you because I will do this no matter the consequences," I said to everyone at the table. Giani and Gino scoffed at the same time, which is fucking creepy.
"What exactly do you remember?" Darlo asked. At this question, my whole body tensed. I'm not going to spill everything. I'm going to fight my battle alone and not with my family. Now, if something is going to affect them, I will let them know.
"I'm not ready to tell you that," I said harshly. Looking over the table, I see everyone looking at me curiously. "I'm not ready to tell any of you yet," I said.
"Whatever you need, I will provide. But know you aren't doing anything alone. That's not how we function, and it never will be. So whether you like it or not, I will be helping along with anyone else who wants," Darlo said, standing up and looking me in the eye. I take a deep breath, trying to calm myself.
"All I want is for you not to ask questions. I will tell you at some point. I promise," I said sincerely. Dane's head turned towards me, obviously surprised I promised. Once, I told him I would only ever promise if my intentions were pure. Knowing me, that doesn't happen often. The last thing I want is for someone to die from a problem that isn't even theirs.
"What do you need to do?" Darlo asked me. I had thought about that, and it requires some traveling, but it needs to be done.
"I need to go back to Georgia," I heard Gavino let out a groan. I know Georgia isn't very much fun. "I need to go where it all started,"
"Then we will go this weekend. Whoever wants to come is welcome. That goes for all of you," Darlo said, looking at my friends and Lucifer. I got up, excusing myself, and went up to my room. I was in no mood to conversate.
Soon I will get the revenge I crave and the answers I need. I have a theory that is a little far stretched. Marco wasn't simply abusing me. He was working with someone. How would Marco get into a mansion protected with high security? How would he get his hands on the only daughter of the Italian mafia? There is absolutely no chance he could do that by himself. So I came to the conclusion he is working with someone.
However, the only thing I'm unsure of is how long did these people watch me before I was in Marco's custody? If they knew who I was, these unknown people must know who my mother is and what happened to her. I don't just want answers for me. I need clarity for the whole family. All of us were abandoned by our mother who's name I don't even know.
What I do know is Marco will be taking his last breath very soon.
