CHAPTER 40: Real Magic

"Galit ka ba? Sorry na...alam mo kasi-"

"Hindi ako galit! Ilang beses mo na bang tinanong yan!" Arylle rolled her eyes to Nathan.

"O-okay. Sabi mo eh." Napapikit at buntong hininga na lang ang binata.

"Hindi ako galit! As in hindi! Hindi ako galit Nathan! Bakit ba kasi ako magagalit? Hello! Wala namang kagalit-galit sa ginawa mo eh! Pinili mo lang namang ihatid yung spoiled brat na kapatid ni Dok Kyle! Batang maliit ba siya? Ha? Hindi ba niya kaya umuwi mag-isa? Tsaka bakit kailangan siyang pumulupot ng ganun sayo at halikan ka sa harapan ko! Aish! Bwisit!" Gigil na gigil niyang sabi sa binata.

"You are so cute Arylle. Ang cute mong magselos." Kinurot nito ng bahagya ang pisngi nito.

"Hindi ako nagseselos! Bitawan mo nga ako! Doon ka na lang sa Keira mo! Pauwi na talaga dapat ako eh..." Lumabas ito ng nurses quarter at binalibag ang pintuan.

Bwisit! Kung hindi ko lang off bukas! Kanina pa ako umuwi!

Day off means a day without Nathan on her sight. She doesn't wanted to admit it, but even one day not seeing him is like a torture to her.

Kainis! Aish! Bakit ba kasi akala mo kung sino siyang makapulupot kay Nathan!

Arylle's jealousy makes it impossible to talk about other women in any context. Whether it's a female coworker, or anyone, she will immediately transform to a T-rex. But he managed to be considerate and understanding to her. Always reassuring her that he loves her so much and no one gonna steal him away from Arylle.

"Hi Dok! Uwi ka na? Buti pa si Dok Nathan...parang di galing sa duty." Bati sa kanya ng isang nurse na matagal ng may gusto sa kanya. Hindi yun lingid kay Arylle, mas lalo tuloy siyang sumimangot at binilisan ang lakad.

Shit! Damn! Ano bang gagawin ko para matigil na yang pagseselos mo?

He sighed as he walked fast, trying to reach Arylle's hand.

Nathan is a kind of man who catches any women's attention, even when he don't really mean to. It's a natural reaction to admire and compliment him. Not just with being gorgeous, but being nice and friendly to his co-workers.

"Arylle! Hintayin mo ako!" Pero hindi siya pinansin ng dalaga at nagpatuloy lang sa paglalakad ng mabilis. Hindi siya papunta sa parking lot kaya mas mabilis na tumakbo si Nathan para habulin ito.

This is driving me crazy Arylle! Ano pa bang gusto mong gawin ko? I've done everything for you not to be jealous...

It has gotten to the point where he couldn't keep a duty without having Arylle's killer eyes everytime he engaged in any type of conversation with a woman, even if it is job related.
Every time they pass what would be considered an attractive person, she would glare at him to see if Nathan is looking at them. He have let her run a program that allows her to view all his phone calls and read all his texts whether deleted or not as well as follow him on GPS when he leave the house or everytime they are not together. Nathan also given her the complete access to his facebook and social media accounts from which he have deleted all females except his family.

"Arylle! Ano ba? Magwo-walk out ka na naman? Dahil lang kay Keira? She is like a little sister to me. Twenty one lang yung batang yun...she is so childish and spoiled, can you not-"

"Pakialam ko kung twenty one lang siya! Babae pa rin yun Nathan!"

"Lahat naman sayo...babae...kahit yung matandang Consultant ng General Surgery pinagseselosan mo. Tell me...ano pa bang gusto mong gawin ko? Tell me Arylle...ano pang dapat kong gawin para matigil na yang pagseselos mo sa lahat ng babae sa paligid ko? Wala ka ba talagang tiwala sa akin? Ha?"
