'Alright, bad news first: I will have to miss your nuptials. Kol has a bit of a life-and-death matter he needs help dealing with.' Rebekah Mikaelson found Hayley searching for suitable wedding attire, not exactly being the type to fantasise over her wedding in comparison to the blonde now body swapped vampire. The wife of the father of her child was the odd one out, having only the option to remember her wedding blissfully.

'Anything I can do, Rebekah?' She asked genuinely and Astrid appeared next to her sister in law, 'I just asked the same question. Unfortunately, love Kol's situation is witch business which as much as I hate to admit it, doesn't include either of us.'

Hayley smiled at the two women walked into the room properly and Astrid noticed the pile of clothes on the bed before Rebekah. Picking up a pair of blue jeans, her eyes widened before looking at the witch, 'Bekah, we have an emergency.'

'What is it?'

'Hayley reckons she's getting married in knitwear and skinny jeans'

The women laughed and Hayley hid her face, giggling. 'Oh god, no. I've got just the thing.' Rebekah trotted off in her heeled boots and Astrid clapped her hands, 'Chop chop Bekah! Work your magic!'

Hayley tilted her head in confusion as Astrid sat down, 'You'll see love.' Rebekah came pacing back in with Hayley's perfect wedding dress. It was fitted with long lace sleeves and it looked like it could trail behind her. Astrid stared at it in wonderment, 'I remember that one.' In that moment, the woman couldn't help but remember her own dress. Being a millennia ago, Astrid's dress couldn't of compared to what Rebekah had harboured over the centuries but she still held love for it.

It was long sleeved and stitched from linen by her mother. It's neckline draped around her shoulders, most of it was covered by her hair. That day, her mother believed she should of had her hair braided back off her face but both Astrid and Deryn protested and eventually the sisters won. The dress was complimented by a present from Ayana, an amethyst crystal tied up with rope sat around her neck.

'Oh, Rebekah... Thank you.' Hayley gushed and held it up against her frame in the mirror, 'It's beautiful.'

'Well, I happen to be the only woman alive who's commissioned wedding dresses in five different centuries. Never made it down the aisle, of course.' Rebekah smiled and Hayley tried to make her feel better, 'Well, it's not too late! From what I understand, Marcel is still single... Have you told him yet that you're... you?'

'You never know, Beks. It been a couple centuries. He might enjoy the refreshing new look.' Astrid's sarcasm made Hayley chuckle and Rebekah swatted her from across the bed, 'I thought I'd hold off on that for the moment. Only complicates matters. And, I'm not exactly sure how long this... is going to last.'

'Right.'

...

'Nik? Oh my god.'

Astrid gaped as she turned around from her full length mirror to see Klaus with his daughter in his arms. Hope looked overjoyed to see her step mother and squeaked excitedly as Astrid took her from Nik.

'I figured she might want to join the festivities.' Nik smiled at the sight in front of him, Hope clutched onto Astrid and found amusement in her rings straight away. His daughter grabbed at the snake ring on Astrid's finger and she giggled, 'Hey beautiful!'

'And I was thinking you could share the babysitting duty with Camille.' Nik rose an eyebrow with a smirk and she looked up, 'Nik I can't can I. I can't leave you in the same room as Jackson for five minutes without you trying to murder him.'

'I never said you had too. But I know you and I see how much you care about her. You deserve your time too, it was robbed from you. From us.' Nik explained, hoping that the last sentence would translate what he truly was thinking to his wife and it did. She smiled gratefully, 'Yes. Yes it was. But I think she should go see her mum first.' Astrid looked back down at Hope.
