[Chapter 27]

(Cordelia's Perspective)

Morning light creeped through the blinds of my window in golden rays reflecting off of the outline of Sodas sleeping figure.

I stared, half dazed and in disbelief of what happened last night.

He stirred a bit in his sleep which I found to be adorable. It wasn't long after until his eyes had slowly began to open. Rubbing the sleep from his tired eyes he then looked over at me and smiled, pulling me closer to his chest.

He spoke to me in a low and almost hushed voice which had left me to feel all the more weak right beside his strong physique. "A guy could really get used to this."

"You sleep well last night?" I asked him.

He slowly nodded. "I did. What about you kitten?"

"Never better." As much as Id love to stay here wrapped in his arms all day I knew that there were plans already made for later. "I'm gonna go shower and after that we can make breakfast. You just rest up till then, alright?"

"Alright darlin'."

Grabbing my nightgown from the night before and a new pair of panties I made my way down to the restroom to get my day started.

Letting the warm water run down me I began to wash the skin he had touched, gripped, and kissed as memories from last night replayed in my head. I remembered it all so vividly.

I smiled to myself knowing that boy was all mine and how lucky I truly was to have him. However, a part of me felt guilty.

From Sodas understanding I was a virgin up until last night, and I hated playing into that lie, but there's no way he could know the truth.

Caught up in thought the restroom door had opened and soon after the shower curtains had been pushed aside. "Room for one more?"

Soda stood before me with a towel wrapped securely around his hips. "Just keep your hands to yourself." I teased him.

"What kind of man do you take me for?"

"You're the one who came in here after me." I reminded him.

"I needed to shower too and thought it'd be best if we took one together. Save water and all that hippie talk."

"I'm sure that's it. Just stop lying and get in here and kiss me already." I knew why he was really here and after I figured him out he spent no time in denying it.

Tossing his towel aside he was quick to join me. "Gladly."

His lips were wet from the shower water and steam making them warm to the touch. It was hard to keep hold of his slicked skin so my fingers tangled themselves in his hair while his hands had a sturdy grip upon my curves.

My mind had raced every time he kissed me like this. So intense, it wasn't something I expected from such a sweet guy, but I couldn't deny that I liked it.

Backing me up against the cold tile wall he continued to dominate me in all the right ways.

Last night Soda had restrained himself from being too rough with me so I couldn't help but be curious to find out what he's like without the worry of accidentally hurting me.

Was this how he was without restraint?

Biting my lower lip he then teasingly pulled away from me.

I couldn't help but feel disappointed by his sudden change in behavior. "Why'd you stop?"

"I already told you, I only came in here to shower."
