Flipping my new uru sword in my hands, my eyes set on the oncoming wave of Outriders. I swung my arm, my sword easily piercing through the Outriders tough skin, splattering blood across the green grass. With each swing, I saw the light gem embedded on my sword, uncannily reminding me of the moon that was visible from the restaurant back on Old Panteleimonas. With the single thought, my sword lit up with wisps of silver energy. I whipped my cape back in astonishment at the field of magic that glowed around my sword.
Cutting down an Outrider, it crumped to the ground as soon as it make contact with my sword. I held my sword high over my head and brought it down with great force, a river of silver wisps emitting from it, sending down Outrider's as the magic swam down.
Thor fought beside me, side by side and together we were a true force to be reckoned with.
As I swiped my sword, a reign of moonbeams emanated from it, Thor swung his axe, lightening thundered off it and together they met, a huge explosion of energy disintegrating Outriders.
I exchanged a glace with Thor, small smiles playing on our lips.
The tree and raccoon Thor entered with arrived by our sides.
"Selene, meet Tree," Thor said, holding his arm out.
"I am Groot," they said, growing their arm greatly, piercing three outriders.
"Wait, is it Groot or Tree?" I asked, kicking down an Outrider and stabbing it in the back.
"I am Groot," they said again.
"Groot it is, then. Pleasure to meet you."
"So this is Selene, huh?" the raccoon piped, a smirk on his face as he fired his gun.
"Shut up, rabbit," Thor said quickly, shooting the raccoon a look.
"You talking to space strangers about me?" I asked, my eyebrow quirking with a teasing smile.
"No," he said, eyes diverting away from my gaze.
"Hmmm...thanks for telling me, rabbit," I said, biting down my smile.
As I continued to strike down the Outriders, I saw Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian enter the battlefield. Cull Obsidian launched his hammer, members of the Kingsguard, Borderers and Jabari flew though the air. He punched though them with ease but the Black Panther leaped forward and sent him a kinetic energy punch that laid him flat.
Cull Obsidian raised his hammer again, preparing to toss the chain to take out more Wakandans but I sprinted towards him as he threw his hammer, my sword slicing though the chain, cutting off the hammer. I began to press forward, wanting to take him out completely when a group of Outriders pounced on me.
Dealing with them quickly, I looked up, hearing a deep rumbling from the trees. Blazing through the forest, the disturbance reached the edge and churned up huge chunks of the earth that easily passed the force field. Massive motorised spiked wheels zoomed into the battlefield, annihilating everything and everyone in their paths.
