My head spun to match the thundering pace of my anxious heart. My vision blurred to the majestic clouds on the peaks of Mount Olympus as I landed in the unknown realm. Puffing the stands of hair obscuring my view away, I stood tall, held my head up high and rolled back my shoulders, masking the overwhelming fear I felt.

Keep your calm. You can do this. You've gone through too much to fail at the last hurdle. The deadliest hurdle but still, you need to persevere because you must see father again.

As soon as I stood, the 'guard' standing on the podium in the golden, spherical room drew his sword and pointed it at me.

"What are you doing here, Olympian?" He said in a low voice, glaring at me. A great, horned helmet sat upon his head, covering most of his face but his amber eyes flickered dangerously between fear and bewilderment before hardening. From that I knew he was an important man.

"I swear to you," I said, raising my hands quickly in the air, quickly switching to English, my Greek accent hanging on slightly to my words due to my nerves. "I mean no harm, in fact, quite the opposite. I'm here to offer peace between our two realms."

My heart was thumping and a light sheen of sweat had already coated my forehead, he could either slay me right here or take me to see his King. Only one of those options was preferable.

"How can I trust you," he said with wild eyes,
keeping his sword high. "For all I know this could be a ploy to sneak in Zeus and murder our King."

"Please, I will explain it all to your King if you shall let me...and for one, I am nothing like my grandfather." I said, shaking my head definitively to deny his words.

His next movement almost actually made me drop to the floor in relief, he lowered his sword.

"Fine, I shall take you to the Allfather but there are no promises to what he will do when he sees an Olympian in his halls." He finally said, pointing me forward with his sword.

And so he led me down the glittering Rainbow Bridge, it's iridescent colours almost blinding me from it's sheer shine. My fear was forgotten momentarily as I walked across the grand golden city. Asgard was entirely different to Olympus. Olympus carried a homely, humble feel within its vast marble walls but Asgard seemed to gloat it's wealth and success. It didn't surprise me, as soon as I discovered the vast library in the Pantheon, I read all about Asgard and it's history of war, especially the war that started this feud.

In 965 A.D. Odin Allfather and his daughter Hela strove to take control over the realm, wanting to assume 'peace.' Olympus, being just as powerful as Asgard, saw though their lies and knew of their greed to simply rule over them all. The Olympians invaded Asgard and there the legendary battle took place. The Asgardians were caught off guard and the Olympians pressed forward, taking over half of the city but they were quick to retaliate. Hundreds of Olympians and Asgardians alike were slaughtered in battle. It went on for a gruelling amount of days but finally ended in an epic clash between Odin and Zeus themselves. Odin plunged his sword into Zeus' abdomen, causing him to be whisked away back to Olympus to be healed, crowning the Asgardians as the victors.
