"You've been staring at my face for a while."

Frankly, i'm glad I was the only one here, because if someone else were to be here they would have misunderstood.

'Is there really nothing else you like other than your sword?'

If that was the case then, I would feel really sorry for some reason.

"If you can't think about anything else, it's okay. Don't feel pressured to tell me."

He reached out his hand slowly at my words.

I stared at his long finger, gradually approaching my face.

'What are you going to do?'

His red eyes were fluttering faintly.

'You look confused.'

I could have stopped him, but I decided to wait and see what he did.

"I don't know. So far I..." He spoke, as he pulled a strand of my hair off my lips.

I looked at his finger slowly descending.

"Why didn't you tell me I had a hair attached?"

Then he said with a slight frown, "Isn't it possible to take it off?"

"Oh, that's right..."

Well, I am in a contract relationship with him now.

I was convinced that even this was an acting practice to show others.

"But there's no one here, so you don't have to do that."

I said it just in case it bothered him, but he didn't even reply to.

'I can't believe you don't know even if you think about it.'

As I was grumbling inwardly, I suddenly remembered what I wanted to ask him.

"Come to think of it, did you make up with my father?"

To my question he shook his head instead of answering.

'No? You still haven't made up?'

Just a while ago, the two were very motivated to talk to each other, and I guess they drank tea without talking like they did during dinner time.

I sighed in frustration.

'In the end, does that mean I have to go against my father's opposition?'

Nothing is easy.

As I was thinking, he opened his mouth.

"Why do you make that expression?"

"Oh, nothing. It's just stuffy."

"What's stuffy?"

Should I answer honestly?

I thought about it for a moments but then I became worried.

'He's free to reconcile with my father whenever he wants. He might get offended if he finds out I'm thinking like this.'

I stared at him and avoided his question.

"I don't think my father has given up on marrying me to the Crown Prince yet."

He squinted at my words.

"Do you hate the Crown Prince so much?"

"Yes?"

EDIT

I let out a breath, momentarily embarrassed by his question.

'Do I have to tell you the whole story?'

Soon I made a judgment.

I don't have to tell him that.

"I just need to avoid being engaged to the Crown Prince. So..."

He stared at me with a fierce look.

I would have finished my words without hesitation.

However, the sudden change in his facial expression forced me to hesitate without realizing it.

"Why are you avoiding your engagement with the Crown Prince?"
