I was too lazy to go out so I thought it'd be better to hire a seamstress, but then I thought my father might interfere with my dress making decisions.

So, for that reason, I decided to visit the boutique in person.

The place was swarming with people who had come to design a dress for the upcoming banquet.

It was very noisy, but I couldn't hear them due to my thoughts.

'What color will keep the Crown Prince from looking at me?'

This question has been bothering me.

Suddenly, I heard a voice mention the source of my troubles.

"I hear that His Royal Highness like calm blue, doesn't he?"

"I hear that's old news and that recently he prefers the color red."

"Wouldn't bright colors be better? To stand out!"

Baseless words, but I continued to listen to them.

It seems that there will be a lot of people wearing primary colors to the event.

'In order to not stand out...'

Then, the designer of the dressing room came and asked me quietly.

"Princess, have you decided which color you'd like for your dress?"

In response, I brought up an inconspicuous color.

"I have decided on pinkish beige."

Beige is a color that is not easy to see when accompanied by bright colors.

Maybe that's why the designer had that expression on her face.

"Actually, I don't think that color will stand out."

"It doesn't matter."

She became embarrassed at my answer, but I didn't care.

'Because that's my purpose.'

But if I make it too obvious, you might think it's weird.

For that reason I leaned down to whisper a suitable reason.

"Everyone is choosing a fancy color, but I don't want to follow that."

I worded it in a way that made me sound like a person who wanted to go against the fashion norms, but she tried to convince me that it was wrong.

"But that color is a little..."

I spoke with a smile, knowing exactly what she wanted.

"Give me all the finest silks and decorations."

My father did tell me before to not mind the price of the dress.

So I decided wear an expensive but not too fancy dress, using expensive fabrics and decorations.

From the perspective of the designer, I was being a stubborn customer by expressing my intention to pay a high price, so there was no justification for further refusal.

"It can't be helped. Now that it's come to this, I shall put my all in this and try to make you the main character at the banquet."

I smiled regretfully.

'It's okay because the dress won't be to the Prince's tastes, right?'

Meanwhile, the Crown Prince's entourage was resting at an inn for a while.
