We had to tell her.

Everything.

This was not good.

It had already happened to Braylen once, and we did not want it happening to Sophie.

The moonlark.

The Remember Refugees were back.

But the Order of the Guardians wasn't.

What no one knew--not even Asher--was that our siblings were in the Order.

Yes.

We had more siblings.

And our parents did hate us.

And we did get banished.

But Sienna and I stuck with our siblings until we were old enough to live our own life.

We had two older sisters.  They were in the Order and were also twins.

Like us.

They disappeared with the rest of them though.

The Guardians.

What happened to them?

We don't know.

I just hope they're alright.

They were sweet and kind.

But most of all.

They were survivors.

They fought.

For them.

And for us.

We also didn't tell Sophie that...this didn't happen a long time ago.

Sienna and I were probably one when it happened.

When the Remember Refugees were defeated.

So it was only thirteen years ago.

My thoughts seemed to help a memory resurface.

Suddenly.

We were all at the hideout.

We were celebrating the victory of defeating the Remember Refugees.

One of my big sisters picked me up while the other was holding Sienna.

"We did it!" she shouted happily, holding me up in the air like I was Simba.

After the celebration was over, they all grabbed a light-leaping crystal and leaped away.

Leaving me and Sienna there.

All alone.

After that, I don't remember what happened.

I snapped out of my thoughts when someone shook me.

"Emma! Emma!" a voice called.

It was Sienna.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"What happened? You looked like you were out of it."

"Yeah sorry....a memory resurfaced."

As soon as I said that, I knew I shouldn't have.

"What memory?" Sophie questioned.

Sienna and I shared a look.

"We will tell you if we have to. It is not necessary right now," Sienna replied.

Wow.

Sienna was wise.

Sophie groaned.

"Now you sound like Mr. Forkle," she whined.

I stifled my laughter.

"But, in all seriousness, we have to know as much as possible about this new group! So tell me!" she urged.

"We will tell you if we have to! Now is not the time!" I said, echoing Sienna's words.

"Well to me, it looks like now is the time! We are trying to help you guys! But that will be impossible if you guys keep secrets as big as these!"

"Yeah like you don't keep secrets at all," I mumbled.

"I heard that!" she snapped.

"Break it up you two!" Sienna cut in.

"Look, Sophie. This is hard for us to talk about so can you please give us some time? We don't even know you that well...."

Sophie reluctantly nodded.

I was grateful that she understood.

But that's when I realized that Olivia wasn't with us.

Hope u liked it!

-Emma
