Sana's POV

"Let's go out, my treat," I said.

"You don't need to pay me back," She answered, making me roll my eyes at her.

"Then think of it as a date," I told her.

"N-No, that would be more awkward. Plus, I have work," She responded.

"It doesn't have to be today. Are you free tomorrow?" I asked her.

"I'll be busy tomorrow," She answered.

"Why is that?" I asked her again.

"Church," She simply answered and walked away, exiting my room.

How can she be so busy yet free at the same time?

I followed her to the kitchen to see loads of food prepared.

"Sana, you're awake. Dahyun prepared breakfast earlier. Come join us," Mom said with a smile on her face.

"You made those?" I asked Dahyun who also sat with them.

"I live alone, Sana-chan. Of course I know," She answered.

Sana-chan?

I sat down beside her.

"They know the news about us, they just don't mention it," She said.

No wonder she calls me that in front of them.

I sighed and started eating.

"Slow down, Sana. We still have to talk about something," Dad said, I nodded as a response and eventually slowed down.

"Dahyun, this is so good. Where did you learn to cook?" Mom asked Dahyun.

"All from experience, ma'am," She answered and took a bite.

"What course did you take?" Dad then asked.

They seemed convinced about me and Dahyun.

I remained silent, listening to them.

"MBBS, sir," Dahyun answered, making Dad's eyes widen.

"So you're going to be a doctor? Like Mina?" He asked, Dahyun nodded.

"We're in the same class," She answered and stood up because she was finished eating.

"The maids can wash that for you," Dad said, making Dahyun shake her head.

"I work part time at a restaurant, sir. I can wash dishes," She said and went to wash her dishes.

"I like her for you already, she's hardworking," Mom whispered while my dad slightly nodded, agreeing with my mom.

My eyes widened as I flared at them, telling them to keep quiet because Dahyun might hear.

They actually don't hate her.
