Chapter 32 - Treasure Hunting

The boys all did well. Sa dami ng mga inilagay na traps at kung anu-ano pa sa laro ay nagawa parin nilang makaabot sa finish line. I wonder what the headmistress prepared for us, girls.

Kami naman ngayon ang pumunta sa gitna ng arena. I feel nervous all of a sudden. I know I can't reach Ate Sayaka's level, she's just too good. Nadagdagan pa ngayon ng Calli and I know Alice can keep up with the fight. I don't know about Ana. She's smart, everyone knows that but I don't know how good she is in battle or any physical power involved.

A hologram appeared above. Tiningnan namin ito and it showed us a small town. "Girls, you will be teleported in that area for your match. What you need to do is to find the treasures hidden in that town. Find treasures as many as you can. Ang pinakamaraming nakita ay siyang panalo but just to remind you , mayroon lamang kayong 30 minutes para mangolekta." A group of subpower users suddenly appeared in our side and we got teleported. That was so sudden.

Mayroon namang mga maliliit na flying robot sa taas namin. I guess that's the cameras at isa doon ay nagsasalita. "Before you start let me just remind you. This is not an ordinary game, that means this town is not ordinary too so Good luck"

"Yeah right, we know that already" mahinang sabi ko. Napatawa din naman ng mahina si Alice. I'm actually expecting na maraming trap dito. I know how Tita Mira's mind works.

"Now, ready or not you will start in 3, 2, 1!" mabilis kaming naghiwa-hiwalay para maghanap na ng mga tinatago nilang mga treasure. Pumasok ako sa isang bahay at nagsimula ng maghanap. The house is not really big so I'm not having a hard time. Ang problema lang ay walang treasure na nandito.

I went out the window and jump out next to the other house. It's a two storey house. 50% possibility na mayroong treasure doon. Nang makarating ay sinimulan ko agad ang paghahanap. The first floor was trash. Wala akong nakitang treasure so I immediately went to the second floor. I went inside a bedroom and found a vault. Hindi na ako nag-abala pang maghanap ng password at sinira agad ito. I cut it in half using my element. Nagbunyi naman ako dahil may nakita na ako. "YES!"

Nawala naman ang saya ko nang maramdaman kong may papalapit sa akin. I jumped at the other side of the bed. Nang tiningnan ko kung sino ang may gawa nun ay nanlaki ang mga mata ko. It was Ate Sayaka and she was also using her element against me. Wait, is this allowed? Pwedeng kunin ang treasure sa iba? Of all people why her?

"I'm gonna take what you found Fen. No hard feelings, laro lang to" aniya at pinaulanan ulit ako ng elemento niya. Umiwas naman ako and I plan to escape. Wala akong balak na labanan siya. Pumasok ulit ako sa ibang bahay para magtago but it didn't work. She keeps on destroying everything. Ilang sandali pa ay may nakita akong gumagalaw malapit sa pintuan. Oh no! Don't tell me another player? Hindi ako huminga hanggang sa bumukas ang pinto and I was surprised to see a Class B monster.

Mabilis ko itong sinugod at pinatumba saka lumabas sa pinasukan nito. Ate Sayaka is still following me so I need to run. Baka kaunti lang ang mahanap ko dahil dito. Damn! And those monsters? I think this is the "Not ordinary" thing na sinasabi ni Tita Mira. Hindi lang sina Ate Sayaka ang makakalaban ko pati narin mga halimaw. Why does the boys earlier has an easy match than us?

I used my element to dash and to jump higher. Napunta naman ako sa isang rooftop ng bahay. I think I lost Ate Sayaka and that's a good news. "20 minutes left" they announced. Sa sampung minuto ay isa lang ang nakita ko. Ganoon na ba ako kabagal? Ilan na kaya ang nahanap ng iba?
