Chapter 44 - Another tournament

Nasa opisina ang lahat ng myembro ng music club pati narin sina Anastasia at Callissa. Seth and Sayaka are also present even Professor Griffith and Professor Bremmer. Nagtataka naman si Mira dahil hindi niya nakita si Ana. Ana is one of the person she wants to see right now.

"Ahm, where's Ana?" tanong niya.  Nagkatinginan sila at natahimik ng ilang segundo. Pagkatapos ng ilang segundo ng katahimikan ay pekeng umubo si Calli at sinagot ang tanong ni Mira. "She quit the club" aniya.

"What!?" hindi siya makapaniwala sa sinabi nito at napatayo pa. "What do you mean she quit? We need her right now!" aniya. Pinakalma naman siya ni Professor Griffith at pinaupo ulit at binigyan ng tubig.

"For what?" tanong ni Lance. Huminga ng malalim si Mira at mas lalong nasira ang mood niya dahil sa tanong nito. Naalala ulit kasi niya ang kalabang eskwelahan tapos nadagdagan pa ng isang bad news.

"For the tournament between the schools here in Aesthia. I told them I won't let Seth and Sayaka join because I'm confident with Calli and Ana and also to all of you."

"Another tournament?" tanong ni Calli. She's done and tired with that but she can't refuse because she was the winner.

"So why are we also here?" tanong ni Callissa.

" The majority of the nobles requested both of you to join because they want to see how good both of you are in battle. Kailangan din kasi ng maraming kalahok dahil may Aeras game din."

This is like olympics? Sa isip ni Calli. Hindi niya alam na agad magkakaroon ng ganitong paligsahan. She already had hints before the tournament happened but she never thought it would be this early. 

"So why us?" tanong ni Fenania.

"Nakakapagod na kasing maghanap ng mga kalahok kaya I decided to let the music club participate. Yay!" masayang wika ni Mira at pumalakpak pa. Blanko lamang siyang tiningnan ng mga kaharap kaya muli siyang nagseryoso.

"Mom, just to remind you, music club kami" Mira didn't mind what his son said and smiled again innocently. Napailing nalang si Lance dahil sa ina. Wala na silang magagawa dahil nakapagdesisyon na ito atsaka susundin nila ito dahil siya ang headmistress.

"We already have an Aeras team though"

"I know that but we also have different games in the tournament. Also, this will be the perfect time for the new girls team in Aeras game to show what you are made of." Aniya kaya napatango sila. She has a point and it will be a good experience for them too. 

"Ilang kalahok ba dapat Headmistress?" Calli asked out of curiosity. Napansin kasi niya na medyo marami na sila.

"16 participants kasali na ang babae at lalaki. For now we have, Mikael, Lance, Levi, Peter, River, Fenaia, Calli, Alice, Daffodil, Anastasisa, Callissa and supposed to be Ana. Apat nalang sana ang kulang but we are not sure about Ana" natahimik sila at tiningnan si Calli. Napabuntong hininga nalang si Calli. Alam niyang siya na naman ang kukulitin ng mga ito na kausapin si Ana.

"Look, I'll ask her again about this tournament but if she said no, again, we will not force her. Maliwanag ba?" aniya.

"Clear" si Headmistress Mira. Parang nagpalit tuloy ang posisyon nila. Calli is supposed to be the student here and not the other way around.

"If she's with the team it's already our win" singit ni Seth na sinang-ayunan naman nilang lahat. Ana is a great fighter and a smart one, she will definitely make a great addition to the team.
