Deal with the Devil

(Im not sure if this perfectly matches the mood of this chapter but I like this song so..)

I sat in the corner of Five's room, writing equations on the bottom of the wall.
"Hey guess what?"
I ask him as I finish the equation I was working on.

"What?"
I turn to face him,
"Im older than you now"
He grins.
"Not by that much"
I shrug and continue the equations.

I here foot steps come into range,
Based off how loud they were I knew it was Luther.
"Who are you talking to?"
He clearly didn't see me.

"Jacob Marley"
(Does anybody get the reference?)
I say and he turns to me,
"Holy shit y/n-"
He cuts himself off.
"I thought you were dead"
I stand up and walk to him,
"It takes more than that to kill me"

He chuckles quietly and brings me into a hug,
"I missed you"
I tell him quietly.
"Missed you to sis"

He turns back to Five,
"So uh- what is all this?"
He asks him.
"Its a probability map"
"Of what?"
"Of who's death will save the world"
"Oh- im not following"

Five than proceeds to explain the details in a more effective way so Luther could understand,
I on the other hand don't listen at all because im more focused on other thing's.
Such as my powers.

Though I haven't been able to physically use them in Vietnam,
I had done a lot of thinking about and I may know how to use them, if accompanied by practice.

Im snapped out of my thought's by the sound of gun cocking,
I look over to see my brother being held at gun point by no one other than my husband.

Im confused until I see Delores in Luther's grasp, being held out of an open window.
"Hey!"
They both snap there heads in my direction.

"Put Delores down Luther"
He ignores my remark and turns back to Five,
"It's either her or the gun, you decided"
I got were he was coming from, but I was still pissed that he brought Delores into this.

Before either of them can do anything I run up to Luther,
I rip Delores out of his grasp.

I pulled a little to hard though and before I knew it, I was out the window.
Five spacial jumps and attempts to grab my hand, but he got there to late and our fingers brush one another.

'Better now than never'
I think to myself before closing my eyes, I was going to try and use my powers.
I focused on Five's energy and I felt a sharp pain pierce my entire body,
I flash of blue blinded my vision and when I reopened my eyes, I was on Five's bed.

Whatever I just did hurt like hell, but it's better than having broken legs from falling out a window so im grateful.
Luther and Five turn to me in shock and relief.

Five runs over to me and picks me up,
"Are you ok?"
I nod slightly and grimaced in pain while doing so.
"What just happened?, you spacial jumped"
He asks after a second.

"I don't know, all I know is that everything hurts"
He gives me a small nod and kisses my forehead,
He turns around and faces Luther.
"What the hell!,you could've killed her!"

"I-Im so sorry Y/n, I didn't mean for any of that to happen"
He stutters an apology,
"Hey its ok, I technically fell out the window"
He nods and looks to Five.

"Look Five, I know your still a good person-"
He looks to me,
"Both of you are"
He turns his attention back to Five.
"This isn't what we do, do you have any other options?"
Five shifts slightly,
"There is one, but it's just about impossible
"As impossible as what brought you back?"
