The day that wasn't

Wednesday 8:15 am

Nobody's pov:

"Three days?"
Alison asks in disbelief as she hands out coffee,
"Well come to think of it the old bastard did mention the apocalypse, he just left out the part about how soon"
Klaus tells them as he positions himself on the floor.

"I mean but can we trust him? In case you haven't noticed Five's a little-"
Alison whistles and spins her finger around the side of her head.
"Our little psycho"
Klaus mumbles, swaying back and forth slightly.

"Wait but what about Sparky?"
He asks taking another sip of his coffee,
"Her not so much, as I know of"
Alison tells him and he nods in agreement.

"Wait speaking of Y/n, were is she?"
Diego asks, slightly concerned after what had happened to her before.
Klaus shrugs not able to give a valid answer.

"He sounded pretty convincing"
Luther speaks up, ignoring the conversation that had just started,
"And if he and Y/n wouldn't have been trying to stop the apocalypse those two lunatics wouldn't be after them"

"Wait that's why they were after them?"
Diego interrupts him,
"Yeah"
He replies.
"What did Five even see?"
Alison asks him after a moment of silence.

"Well apparently we all fought against whomever was responsible..."
He cuts himself off,
"So heres the plan, we go through dads research-"
He starts, trying to change the subject.

"Wait a tic wait a tic wait a tic"
Klaus says over everyone,
"What actually happened the first time around?"
He asks, facing towards Luther.

"Yeah what aren't you telling us?"
Diego asks him, but he remains silent,
"Spit it out big boy"

He sighs taking a sip of his coffee,
"We died"
He whispers, his voice not audible to the others.
"What was that?"
Alison asks him, tilting her head slightly.
"Uh I said we died"
Luther tells them all, loud enough to hear.

There's a long silence after what Luther just said, until an umbrella falls off of a hook and opens on the floor, causing Klaus to shriek.

Your pov:

"Vanya you getting first chair is a huge accomplishment, you did it all by yourself"

I heard an unfamiliar voice say as I get back from getting coffee,
"So it's the right thing to invite them to the concert, they need to see how talented you are, ok?"

I don't know who this guy is but as far as I can tell, he seems really nice.
Plus, a friend of Vanya's is a friend of mine,
Though they do seem like more than friends.
I shrug and continue watching them, trying to not seem creepy.

I wach as he gives her a light kiss,
Ok, definitely more than friends.
"Okay sunny"
Vanya pats his shoulder,
"Lets do this"
She starts walking my way and I quickly move so I don't seem weird watching them.

I move out of the way and try to act as if I just came in the room,
"Oh, hi V"
I tell her,
They both turn to face me.
Vanya smiles and the mans face lights up as if he was happy to see me.

"Hey Y/n"
She greets me with a hug, which I return immediately.
"How are you?"
I ask her as we both pull away from the hug.
"Im good, just a bit nervous"
"Why are you nervous?"
I ask her.

"Well um- I got first chair in my orchestra and we have the concert in a few days"
I gasp, even though I just heard this news from eavesdropping on there conversation.
"Congrats V, I knew you could do it"
She smiles at me,
"Um-"
She rubs the back of her neck.

"Would you like to go to the concert?"
She asks me after a moment,
"Of course!"
I was really excited to hear her play again,
"I would love to, I can't wait to hear you play again, I bet you will sound amazing"
I tell her with a smile.
"Thanks"

"No problem"
I smile,
"Now to the other matter at hand-"
I turn to the guy she was with, who was just standing there with a small smile watching our sister moment.
"Who's your boyfriend?"

"Uh-"
She flushes bright red from embarrassment,
"Leonard"
The man puts out his hand for me to shake it.
"Leonard Peabody, im Vanya's boyfriend"
I take his hand and shake it,
"Nice to meet you Leonard, Im Y/n, Vanya's sister"

"You better take care of her"
I tell him a slightly threatening tone,
"Or you'll have me to deal with"
I point to myself.
"But other than that were friends"
I shift back to my tone before.

"Hey uh Y/n were is everybody?"
Vanya asks me,
"Im not sure, im gonna clean up my room and than look for them"
"Ok were gonna go look for them and im gonna  invite them to my concert"
She says taking Leonard's hand.
"Okay, have fun"
I wave them off and go up the stairs.

Leonard's pov:

I take one last glance at her as she walks up the stairs.

There she is,
The love of my life.

It had been 17 years since I had last seen her and she is she exact same.

Perfect.

Your pov:

I make my way down stairs and sprint to the living room,
"Hey what's going on here?"
I ask, Vanya turns to me.
"Nothing we were just leaving"
She walks out of the room with Leonard and Alison tries going after her but ends up coming back in the room.

I on the other hand do go after her,
"Hey V what happened?"
She turns to me,
"Just being excluded from the family again"
She tells me with an expression of sadness and anger.
"Im gonna kick there ass's"
Vanya puts a hand out telling me to stop.
"Its ok"
"You sure?"
She nods.

"Okay but im still scolding them"
She chuckles lightly,
"Okay, thanks sis"
She tells me.
"No problem"
I than turn around and head back into the academy.

By the time I make it back to the room only Luther was left,
So much for scolding them.

Time skip*

I took a nap after heading up stairs, I didn't know how long I slept but frankly I didn't care.
Five was currently M.I.A. and nobody else seemed to care about the end of the world.

I know there is something I could with my powers if I try, so that's what im going to do.

I find the book I had read the other day from my fathers office and I go onto the roof,
My power is connected with energy and emotion.

After reading for a while I still hadn't figured out why it hurt me to replicate Five's powers, or if it would do that everytime I use them.

In order to use my power I need to focus on surrounding energies,
I closed my eyes and focused on the sky.

After a few moments I hear thunder,
I wanted to open my eyes and look but I knew that I had to keep them closed or else it would stop working.
My skin starts to heat up rapidly and lightning soon start flowing through my hair and hands.

I finally open my eyes and I know that it worked, I could finally control my power.

I focused on a near by tree and stick out my hand, in doing so ,lighting quickly strikes the wood leaving nothing left but a disintegrated tree.
I smile in accomplishment.

Nobody's pov:

The day rewinds and starts back over,
Five falls onto the bar clutching a briefcase in his hands.
"Je-Jesus!"
Alison shrieks at his sudden appearance.

A/n:

So sorry for the wait!
I had a lot of work I needed to get done and didn't have enough time to update.
