Pity party

I stand in front of the mirror as I look at the dress that I wear,
As far as dress's go, It wasn't that bad.

Lila comes out of the bathroom in her teal dress,
"Love the dress Lila"
I compliment her and she smiles.

"Thank you Y/n, I love yours as well"
She thanks me with her soft British accent.

"Thanks"
I thank her quietly,
"I did have to fight you to put it on though"
She chuckles .

"You ready to go?"
She asks and I nod,
Lila runs over to door and cracks it open slightly.
"Were ready"
She shouts to the boys.

She than proceeds to run back over to me and link my arm with hers,
"Lets go"
She says and we both walk to the door.

I open the door and we both make our way to the stairs,
When the guys see us there jaws drop.
"Hello"
I smile.

"W-wow, you look beautiful"
Five says to me as he walks up to me and grabs my hands,
"Why thank you"
I thank him.

"Now, can you both pick your jaws up, so we can go?"
Lila tells the guys causing me to laugh.
Five grabs my hand and we all walk to the car.

On the way there something odd happens,
I get a flash in my head,
It was people screaming.
They were dead.

"Love, are you ok?"
Five questions and I nod,
"Just thought I saw something, that's all"
I tell him as we continue walking.

We get to the car and Lila and Diego are already in the car
I get in the back with Lila and put my seatbelt on, Five gets in the passenger side and Diego starts the car.

"So Y/n?"
Lila asks and I turn to her,
"Yeah?"

"So Diego's your brother right?"
She asks and I nod,
"And Five is also Diego's brother correct?"
I nod again.

"So your dating your brother?"
Lila questions and I freeze,
"Were all adopted"
I state blankly.
"He's technically not my brother"
I add on.

Lila nods and looks out the window,
"How'd you meet Diego?"
I ask her and she turns back to me.
"Mental asylum"
She says and I hold back a laugh and nod.

I stare out the window and think about what happened earlier,
How could I have seen the dead?

After a few minutes the car comes to a stop, I unbuckle my seatbelt and open the car door.

I hear Five sigh and I go up to him,
"What's wrong"
I ask and he looks up at me.

"Why does every party involving dad, have to be so pitiful?"
He asks and I smile slightly,
"Oh you know dad and his pity party's"
I tell him and he chuckles quietly.

Lila and Diego come up behind us and we hide behind a car that's parked infront of the building.

"So what's the plan?"
Lila questions,
"We infiltrate, we identify, we extract, double time"
Diego tells her.

"What the hell is he talking about?"
Lila looks back at me and Five,
"Find the old man and get out fast"
Five explains.

"That's what I said"
Diego mumbles,
"On me"
He tells us as he moves to the next car.

Lila turns back to us,
"After you"
She says and I smile.
"Why thank you Lila"
I thank her and move to follow Diego.
Five stays behind.

After a few seconds Lila comes over, followed by Five.
We walked away from the car and headed into the building.

Slow mariachi music echoed throughout the rooms,
A sparkly chandelier hung from the ceiling and many options of food where laid out all throughout the party.

Five grabbed two glasses of champagne, he offered one to me and I gladly took it.

I lightly sip the champagne as I look around the room, it wasn't much different from all the parties that we have been to before, as Five said,"Any party involving dad is pitiful"

" I don't see Dad anywhere "
Diego, says he looks around the room.

"Well just keep an eye out for the Majestic 12, we've got the upstairs", Five tells him as I take his hand.

We walk over to the stairs as Five sets his champaign down,
I set my Champaign on a passing waiters tray.

"Five?"
I ask him and he looks at he me,
"Can I tell you something?"
I ask him and he nods.
"Of course"

"Earlier, I saw something"
I tell him and he raises an eyebrow.

I decided to come clean with the whole seeing ghosts thing,
I couldn't of used Klaus's powers.

I have to be in close proximity of someone to use their powers, or at least I think I have to be.

I miss Klaus, he is my best friend after all.
I haven't gotten to hug him or hear any of his jokes in two years.

"I saw the dead"
I tell him blankly and his face paints over with shock.
"What?"
He asks me.

"I don't know, I just saw them"
I tell him and he nods,
"We'll figure it out ok?"
He tells me and I nod.

"Lets go find dad ok?"
He asks and I take his hand,
"Lead the way sir"
I tell him and he smirks as we start to walk upstairs.

We get to the upstairs hallway and begin to look around, still hand in hand.

After a minute we both hear a set of heavy foot steps,
Its the Majestic 12.
Five taps my hand and gives me a short look, telling me he was about to spacial jump.

I nod and he blinks us into a small linen closet,
We look through the blinds and see
twelve men enter the room.

"The president is continuing to make inquiries into Roswell, and the other crash sites gentlemen, and as you know we can not allow him to get his nose into our business  "
We hear a man speak,

"I've confirmed the motorcade will indeed be turning left on Elm street, we'll have our people in place"
He continues.

I look over to see an all to familiar person, cleaning his monocle.
"Gentlemen, this plan of yours seems ill-timed"
Dad speaks as he puts on his monocle.

"It's going to be a turkey shoot"
Another man speaks,
Looking at dad gives me flashbacks of his experiments.

I move back slightly and step on a hanger, causing a soft clatter.
Dad turns towards the closet as Five grabs my hand and pulls us back.

Dad goes over to the fire place and grabs a log poker,
He slowly walks over to closet and just and he's about to stab the closet door, Five blinks us out.

Five exhales sharply and turns around, I turn around as well and were both met face to face with Otto, one of the three swedes.

"Shit"
Five breaths out.

I personally do like him, I don't like him as much in season 1 because he's full of himself but he's not that bad in season 2.
