It has been quite a while since I last updated, I apologize for that, yesterday I didn't have my phone on me so I couldn't upload yesterday, and honestly, I've been procrastinating. I realize that this is the end, only a few chapters left, we've come a long journey my children, well enjoy chapter 61.

We follow Sissy up to the barn and Vanya slides open the door, the moment it opens I hear energy resonating from inside.

"Harlan?"
Vanya questions as I take in the surroundings, the so-called 'Harlan', was surrounded by a field of spinning energy and was floating about five feet in the air spazzing uncontrollably.

"Harlan, It's Vanya!"
Vanya shouts at the child,
"What in the actual exorcism is going on right now?"
I whisper to myself as I watch the scene play out.

"Look, Harlan, I know you're really scared, but I can help you. I need you to listen to me, okay? Can you do that?"
Vanya questions the boy and he continues to gasp violently, Vanya looks over to Sissy in confirmation before powering up her energy and stepping into the spinning field of energy.

"Careful"
Five warns her, not wanting any other injuries to occur.
"Harlan?"
Vanya tries to get the floating child's attention.

"I don't know if you can hear me-"
Vanya continues to talk to the boy but I tone out the conversation as I notice Klaus walk over to the barn doors, looking some-what shocked.

"Uh....guys?"
Klaus questions hesitantly and everyone looks at him,
"What?"
Diego questions and we all walk up next to Klaus.

That's when we see what he was talking about, about one hundred feet into the field stood the one and only Handler and her psychopathic daughter, also known as Lila.

"-Ah, shit"
Diego cursed as he caught sight of them,
"What, who are they?"
Klaus questions confused, does nobody tell him anything anymore?.

"One's the Handler, the other's Diego's girlfriend"
Five confirms to Klaus as everybody gathers up in front of the door, looking at the two people in the field.

"Lila, that's my ex-girlfriend"
Diego correct Five, putting emphasis on the word ex.
"What?"
Klaus looks at Diego confused.

"You know what? Doesn't matter. They both look angry"
Luther tells all of us as he squints at Lila and the Handler.
"Yeah"
Klaus agrees.

"Yeah well our siblings have that effect on people"
Alison states and I look at her offended.

"Hey, I merely speak the simple truth, I can't help but be honest, even if that means being rude"
I state proudly, earning a few concerned looks from my family.
I shrug it off and look back at the field.

"All right, we'll go find out what they want, you guys stay here with Vanya and the kid"
Five tells everybody and I take his hand, fully prepared to go all Danny Larusso on Satan and Satan 2.0.

"I'm coming with you too, come on"
Diego states and we all three walk back through the barn and out another door.

As we near closer to the two the Handler smiles brightly,
"Dear God I hate that woman with everything I am, but she has a hella good sense in style"
I say the second part of my sentence quieter, earning a chuckle from Diego and Five.

When we finally reached them the Handler chuckles,
"I love the smell of that fresh country air, don't you darling?"
Handler questions Lila as we walk up to them.

"Makes me want to vomit"
Lila responds coldly, staring daggers into all three of our heads.
"What do you want?"
Five questions them as we stop in front of them.

"To watch you suffer"
Lila tells him, her voice laced with venom.
"What about me?"
Diego asks her and she looks at him almost disgusted,
"You're not even worth my wrath"
She tells him harshly.

"Easy, we're here on official business"
Handler states, calming Lila down slightly.
"And what business is that?"
I question, tilting my head to the side as I do so.

"As the head of the Commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board of directors"
As she answers the question, Both mine and Fives eyes widen.

"Yeah, right. We didn't kill the board"
Diego tells them and I clear my throat,
"Uh, actually, Diego, that's not entirely accurate"
Five tells him, bringing his mouth to a straight line.

"You didn't tell them"
Handler states and Five shrugs while I lightly shake my head.
"Oh, Five, Y/n"
Handler states in a voices if she's talking to a toddler.

"Guys, what the hell did you do?"
Diego leans down to our height to ask us, "What we had to do to get our family home. Until somebody reneged on our deal"
Five states, looking directly at the Handler.

"Somebody would never reneged on the deal if somebody could have met a simple deadline, Alas"
Handler tells us, making my grip on Five's hands slightly tighter to prevent myself from punching this woman.

"You set us up to fail"
I state through gritted teeth,
"You set yourself up to fail, friends, you both and your brothers and sisters, kind of the running theme of your little life, isn't it?"
Handler laughs.

"Guys, can't believe you killed the board of directors, you have no idea how messed up the Commission is right now"
Diego tells us.

"Messed up? Who saying that?"
Handler asks us, though the question was mainly directed at Diego.

"Everybody. Christ, even the janitors think it's going to shit."
Diego tells her before being interrupted by Lila.

"That's not all he killed."
She states coldly, glaring at Five.
"What are you talking about?"
Five asks her, not understanding where she's coming from.

"Don't play dumb you prepubescent piece of shit"
She scolds him.
"Enough. The point is, all of you are going to die today. Hmm?"
Handler tells all of us, setting the briefcase she was holding on the ground.

"Oh. Well, I don't like your chances. Seven of us, two of you."
Diego tells her proudly.

"You know, you're right. Let's change that"
Handler snaps her fingers and hundreds of thousands of commission members zap onto the field.

"Dammit Diego, you jinxed us"
I mumble as the Commission members load their guns.

"So what do we do now?"
Diego asks us, not removing his gaze from the weapon's.
"Well we got two choices: fight and die now or run and die later. Either way, we're food for worms"
Five tells him.

"Preference?"
Diego asks him,
"Wouldn't mind a few more minutes breathing air through the old windbags"
Five tells him,
"Same here"
I agree.

"Let's get this over with shall we?"
Handler pulls out a red handkerchief and Five and I stagger backwards.
"Run!"
He shouts.
