"You're sure you want me to stay?" I asked for the hundredth time
"Yes I'm sure Corbin, now come on let's make dinner." She said
After Y/n woke up and Elton's place she insisted that I took her home and that I stayed with her. She's still devastated with the breakup with Brandon but I think she'll be over it by tomorrow.
"What are we making?" I asked
"Uh no idea, I barely have any food." She said
I checked the cupboards and she's right but I guess it's also because she hasn't been here for at least three months between the two month trip, the hospital, and staying at Elton's place.
"How about we get fast food?" I asked
She shrugged her shoulders "Why not."
She grabbed her purse and her new phone then got into my car.
"Where should we eat?" I asked
"I don't know." She said looking out the window
I turned up the music and I heard her sing to it quietly, I smiled and pulled into the McDonalds drive through.
"Order what you want?" I told her
"Just a burger, fries and a soda." She said
I ordered our food then got it and drove back to Y/n's apartment.

We sat on the couch and turned on a movie while eating our food.
"So what are we doing tomorrow?"
Y/n asked
"I don't know I never thought about it, I guess whatever you want to do." I said
"Could we just relax?" She asked
"Yeah of course."
I took our garbage and threw it away then sat back down with Y/n, she rested her head on my shoulder and wrapped herself with the blanket that was on the couch.
"How have you been feeling today?" I asked her
"I don't know I feel fine but also empty inside." She said
I didn't know how to respond to that but I could tell she was sad and she hid it really well.
"Things will get better, I promise." I said
When I didn't get a response I looked down and saw her sleeping peacefully on my shoulder, I pause the movie and carry Y/n to her room and layed her in bed tucking her in. I went back to the couch and grabbed the blanket she had and covered myself, I tried to finish the movie but end up falling asleep anyways.
