It was a cute little cat.

Midoriya raised his brow at the small animal that refused to leave his side.
He reached his hand down towards it and stroked its fur.

She purred.
She had long fluffy white-grayish hair, beautiful Sapphire eyes, and looked to be a couple of months old.

Midoriya looked at her tag, her name was sapphire/fluffy.
Also on the collar was "dimension traveler"

"Is this some joke about the cat being able to travel dimensions?
I guess it's funny, whatever that means" Midoriya thought to himself.

Fluffy purred as she rubbed her head on his hand.

He turned to the side to properly be able to pet the cat, catching Aizawa's attention.

"Oh, a cat approached him.
I haven't seen this one before, must be new." Aizawa thought to himself as he stared at the cat.

The cat hopped onto Midoriya's lap and slept soundly.
"She's so soft! Is this what all cats are like?
I only ever heard of them being cold jerks in those books" he thought to himself as he petted the cat.

He slightly glitched in his place, he didn't know how to compute this new feeling when he petted the cat.

"I want this cat...
How do I take it with me?"

Midoriya lifted the cat up and walked to the cashier.

"Ma'am, can I adopt this cat?"

The cashier looked at the cat in confusion, "that's not our cat.
Where did she come from?"

"She just approached me"

"Uh I mean I guess.
She isn't ours"

"Thanks!"

Midoriya went back to his seat, happily with the cat.
He already knew how to take care of them with all the books he read on them, he was intrigued by the creature when he first heard of it and did some more research when he was younger and in that library.

"I'll manipulate someone else's quirk to make everything I need for her"

"Midoriya?
What did you ask the cashier?" Aizawa asked a bit confused.

"I wanted the cat, she told me it wasn't theirs so I could have her"

Aizawa stared a bit dumbstruck, "do you know how to take care of her?
Do you have the space and supplies?
Are you allowed to?"

"I can make what she needs, I've read plenty on how to take care of them, and I was promoted recently and I don't need to follow too many rules so yes I can."
Midoriya replied.

Aizawa sighed, "okay then.

But what do you mean promoted?"

Midoriya looked around all secretive, "they made me 1 of the trainers, I got a ton of upgrades because of that!"

"Like?"

"A bigger room with a window, privacy, and fewer rules!" Midoriya replied as he let the cat.

"That's the minimum, and he's CONTENT with the bare necessities??

Not a good idea to ask for any more detail, it looks like he answered vaguely on purpose.
They likely have some kind of punishment if he shares what happens within the facility" Aizawa thought to himself.

Some of the class came back.

"Woah Matrix, whatcha doing with that cat?" Kaminari asked.

"I'm taking her"
