April 4th - Potter Estate

The group of six friends, alongside Lily and the Potter parents, were all sitting at the dinner table, trying to discuss anything but the Slytherin and what she could be doing.

Monty and Mia had gone to the ministry, as requested, and had tried their best, but given Castiel Winchester's position and influence, as well as the fact that technically, Nephera went there willingly, meant that there was nothing the Aurors could do.

After they had heard that, Ellie had half a mind to storm into the manor herself, accompanied by Sirius and James, but Mia had to physically restrain them using magic and explain why it wasn't a good idea to walk into a manor full of Death Eaters.

On top of that, none of the kids were sleeping well.  They rarely slept through the night, and in the case of Sirius and Tony, even if they did manage to sleep, they were plagued by nightmares that caused them to snap awake and breathe heavily, covered in cold sweat.

Lily had taken the role of trying to cheer the group up, by trying to distract them with Quidditch and muggle movies, and it worked during the day, but once the night fell, everyone's attention diverted back to the brunette girl.

They certainly had a right to be worried, for Nephera's door hadn't opened again ever since her father charmed it shut on the first day. Blinkey, the house-elf, had been sneaking her some food in and keeping her up with what was happening around the manor, and from what she gathered, the place was crawling with Death Eaters on a daily basis.

That day, she was staring at the locket Tony had gotten her for her birthday, watching the memories replay, smiling at how innocent and happy they used to be back in second year.

Suddenly, she heard a lot of commotion coming from downstairs, and she strained her ears to decipher what was going on.

"Blinkey," she said, eager to find out, and the small elf appeared in front of her

"What can Blinkey do for Mrs. Winchester?"

"Can you tell me what's going on? Who is making that much noise?"

"Those men, Mrs. Winchester, Blinkey saw those dirty men walk in, carrying three others,"

Snatchers.

"They took two to the basement, but one they kept upstairs, in Mr. Winchester's office,"

"Is he here? Is the one they're all afraid of here?"

"No, but they is waiting for him, Blinkey thinks,"

They wouldn't do anything to them before Voldemort himself got there, and so she had some time to form a plan on how to get out of the room, and how to help the others.

The Slytherin looked around the room, trying to figure out something to use. She needed something to act as a shield because she didn't know how many Death Eaters or snatchers she would encounter, and no matter how good she was at dueling, she was no match against multiple Death Eaters.

Her eyes fell back on the locket, opening it absentmindedly and staring at the memories displayed at it once again, trying to figure something out. Her eyes zeroed in on one specific memory, of the first time they were at Hogsmead, and Tony ripped his shirt, using a towel to make another one. The Slytherin then lifted her eyes to the curtains of the room, the ones her father had specifically charmed so that they would absorb spells, without being affected by them.

She couldn't cut them with a spell, for it wouldn't work, but a cursed knife would. Getting up and walking to her desk, she took her knife out, careful not to scrape her skin, and placed it on the fabric of the curtain. There was some resistance, but ultimately the curse won over the charms, and she was able to cut a large piece off.
