June 25th - Ellie's house

Everyone was gathered around the hammock that Nephera and Sirius had fallen asleep on last night, looking down at the pair.

"This is adorable," whispered Lily

"And so fucking hilarious," added Marlene, "Someone get the camera,"

Tony obliged, and waved his wand, the muggle camera soaring towards him seconds later. They really should be more careful about doing magic out in the open like that, but then again, most muggles would think it a trick of the light if they saw a flying camera.

"Can we just appreciate the fact that Padfoot has a girl in his bed that he didn't shag?" said Remus "Or, well, not bed, but you get the idea..."

"Can we appreciate the fact that Neph's letting someone hug her?" replied Ellie

"I'm never letting either of them live this down," came the voice of James

Dorcas was sitting a little ways behind the group, "Do you lot normally sit around and watch people sleep?" she asked "You do realize how weird you look right now, right?"

"I"m going to wake them up," said Peter determinedly

Marlene perked up at the idea, "On three?"

"Don't you dare you two, let them be," ordered Lily

The mousy boy and the blonde Gryffindor exchanged a look, before leaning in closer, "Morning," they screamed together

"Death Eaters!" exclaimed Nephera, not being able to register that there was, in fact, no threat around

"What? Where?" yelled Sirius as he too woke up with a start

Everyone soon found out that hammocks were not the place someone should get ambushed in. In their confused state, Nephera and Sirius tried to get out of the hammock, which at that point was nothing more than a mess of fabric and libs, as it twisted around the two teens.

Eventually, the hammock twisted upside down, and the two fell to the ground with a loud thud, groaning as Sirius's back hit the floor harshly, and Nephera's head collided with the grass.

The rest of the teens there had absolutely lost it at that point. James was in tears, rolling around on the floor, as Lily, who was laughing hysterically too, was trying to help him up.

Peter and Marlene were leaning on each other for support, while Ellie was trying really hard to conceal her own laughter.

Remus, Tony, and Dorcas had taken to holding onto the table that was there in order not to fall down, their loud laughs mixing with the others.

One look at Nephera and Sirius's expressions, however, silenced them all.

"Is this where we run?" whispered Peter to Marlene

"I think so," she whispered back as the two other teens stood up, "Go, go go!" yelled the blonde

"I take care of the rat, you focus on blondie?" asked Sirius when they began running after them

"Fine by me," yelled back Nephera

While the two Gryffindors were running away from the pair, shrieking loudly, the others sat down at the garden table and watched, wiping their tears out of their eyes.

Laughter and happy moments like those were rare with the war brewing on the horizon, so everyone remained silent, trying to cherish the moment.

It truly was the perfect morning, the sun was shining in the sky, although the midday heat hadn't taken effect yet. The sea was calm, it was still quiet around them since the neighbors hadn't woken up yet.
