(AkameGaKill) Esdeath x Tatsumi: Divorced Couple Stuck Together

I have this "Write A Story Based On A Prompt" books that include like 8 words you have to use and I made one based on if they were married then divorced:-)

The Prompt: Divorced Couple Stuck Together

3rd person POV:

As Tatsumi paces the forest floor, he realizes he is stuck somewhere in the middle of nowhere with Esdeath. He sighs and lays on the ground in defeat.
Esdeath flies down from the ice tower she built and lands next to Tatsumi.
She says "Guess it's just us here."
Tatsumi quickly looks around and says "Actually there's an elk over there."
Esdeath shoots an ice dagger at the elk, which then falls over.
She assertively exclaims "Well now it's just us and supper!"

Then, they decide to check the surrounding area for a way to leave.

They found out they were in a forest. There were small insects, one danger beast that they fought together, and lots of trees. The whole place was shaded and quite cool. It made Esdeath feel right at home.

They find another man whose name was Mr. Ena and he was what he called a feelings specialist. He said he worked a lot with divorced couples and Esdeath immediately had an ice dagger to his throat asking how he knew that they were divorced. While he didn't answer that, he told them the escape involved them working together, but Esdeath tormented him into leaving before they could give that idea a real chance.

Tatsumi cooked the elk along with some orange zest, and grated coconut over a small fire.
He knew Akame or Susanoo would've made the meal better, but they weren't here:(
He missed his friends. Surely one of them could've gotten them out of there faster.

Esdeath swivels her head to face Tatsumi and says "That was amazing, Tatsumi."
She was always complimentary of his work in the kitchen and in other places (wink wink).

Tatsumi replies "Thanks Esdeath."
She replies "That is the first time you've actually said my name since we split."
He replies "I figured we should make peace with one another. If what Mr. Ena said was right, then being at peace with you will get us both out of this forest."
She asks "But do you really want to get out of this forest?"
He answers "It does feel like this is an illusion or a dream."
She replies "Oh, I like it here. We could just live here."

Inside, Tatsumi knew he couldn't live here peacefully forever. He wouldn't want to. I mean especially with Esdeath of all people. She was becoming more tolerable. But for Esdeath, she knew that she could.
