I was traveling to Los Angeles for spring break. Crazy, right? I really didn't want to go, but my 4 best friends wanted to go on a trip together at least once while we were at the same college and before we graduated. I didn't want to be the only one who didn't go and miss the fun times, so I agreed. Honestly my parents were very chill about the whole thing. They know my friends enough and trust me to be responsible.
When we arrive in Los Angeles, we hop into an Uber and we're driven to our AirBNB. We picked one that was titled cozy family cottage with jacuzzi. It was only like $150 per person since we are staying 5 days, so we didn't feel like it was that bad.
After we arrive, we all drop our stuff and change. We then walk to InNOut. What? Walk? Yeah we do. We all walk around campus and it's only like 1 mile away, so why not?

After we have eaten so much food to stuff ourselves, we leave InNOut. We had originally planned to go out again tonight, but we are tired.
We stop at a little market and buy stuff for dinner. We then head back to our AirBNB.
Jasmine and Sarah each go shower in the two bathrooms while Bailey, Anna, and I watch Netflix.
I decide to open Instagram to see how my picture is doing and I see some missed messages. I open it and see one from Emma Chamberlain. Omg!! I say "Guess who just messaged me on Instagram?" Anna answers "Ooh Ooh ummm your crush from your economics class." I reply "No no. He doesn't even follow me. It's Emma Chamberlain." Bailey gasps and asks "What did it say?" I answer "I haven't read it yet. I just saw it." Bailey replies "Well go on and read it!" I open the message and read it aloud "It says Hi Y/N! It's Emma here which you can tell from my username!Saw you are in Los Angeles and was wondering if you are free at any point to shoot with me! I like your work and think it would be fun!" Omg! Wow! Emma likes my photography.
Anna opens our planner for the trip and replies "We're free tomorrow after like 4. You should see if she is free then. Do it! Do it!" I reply "I'll miss whatever you guys do though." Bailey replies "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity though. Your photography will get more recognition and you'll get to hang out with the Emma Chamberlain!" I reply "Guess you're right. I'll ask her."
I message her back: Hi Emma! Thanks for liking my photography! I'm free after 4 tomorrow if that works for you. Wherever you want to meet is fine with me since I've never been to Los Angeles until today! She messages back immediately: Perfect! We can meet at Philz to talk first? I'll send the address so we go to the same one! Does that work? I message back: Yes! Great! She sends me the address and I reply: Thanks! See you tomorrow! She replies: Cool!
