Chapter 6

Lexi's POV

I got home late at night. It was, if I remember correctly, 3 in the morning. Jack, Marcus, and I had the best time of our lives. We laughed, we talked, we got drunk...don't worry. I was sober enough to drive. I couldn't help but smile foolishly the whole night. 

~Earlier that day~

"Hmm Marcus...I dare you, I dare you to kiss Lexi" Jack smirked. Marcus and I froze in our spots, only glancing at each other momentarily.

"J-Jack. Are you serious?" I stuttered. The lad nodded.

"O-Okay" Marcus said nervously. We slowly faced each other. Marcus cupped my face in his hands, looking down at me. He gave me a small half smile before leaning down. My heart sped up. With the feeling of our lips touching, my eyes fluttered close. His lips were soft and gentle. My surroundings disappeared. It was just Marcus and I. The stress, the pain, it was all gone. 

"Wow" I heard clapping in the background. My cheeks went red as we pulled apart. I slipped my strand of hair away from my face, pushing it behind my ear. I didn't know what to say besides agreeing with Jack.

~Present time~

My head pounded and my stomach churned. I got out of bed grabbing some Advil. I swallowed it and took a swig of water. My phone chimed on the side.

'Morning Beautiful :)' 

I smiled, texting Marcus back.

'Morning :P' 

My phone rang once more, but it wasn't Marcus. It was Niall.

'Get ready. We are going out in 60 min'

I got up and chose some clothes from my luggage. A teal see through button up with a black bando bra and black leggings. My hair was down in its waves and I put on my gray flats. I did my makeup and brushed my hair.

There was a knock on my door. Looking through the peep hole, I spotted Niall.

"Hey there. Ready to grab some lunch? I'm starving" Niall smiled. I grinned, linking arms with the blonde haired boy. 

"Me too!" We skipped to the elevator, obviously in a happy mood. 

We stepped into the lobby. I spotted 4 other boys. My eyes locked with the color green. My happiness soon turned into anger.

"Hi..." He whispered.

"Hi" I said emotionless, greeting the other boys.

We sat around a circular table. It was more like brunch now. Almost 11. We ordered our food. Nothing special I guess. The whole time though, to ignore the awkward silence, I texted Marcus.

'What are you up to now?' Marcus asked. 

'Eating. Awkward turtle right now. No ones talking. Save me plz!' I texted back.

'What restaurant? I'll be there in 2! lol jk. I doubt it's that bad' 

'It is! ):'

'How about to make it up to you, you and I got out for dinner tonight. What do you say, 6 maybe?'

'Perfect ;)'

I couldn't help but smile ear to ear. Marcus and I were gonna go on a date today. I've been crushing on him since a year ago. He's so funny and I love his impressions. He can always make me smile.

"So Lex, who you texting?" I looked up to see all the boys staring at me. I looked at the person who asked me a question. Liam. "Whenever you hear your ring, you bite your lip, holding in a smile" Louis adds, picking up a piece of toast.

"A friend of mine. He's a really good mate of my cousin and he came to visit him. It's been a while since I last saw him." I took a sip of my coffee.

"Is that where you were yesterday?" A husky voice spoke up. I faced the curly haired boy.

"As  a matter of fact, yes. I went to see my cousin, and he met up with us." I stated.

"What's this boys name?" Zayn asked. Nosy much?

"Marcus. Marcus Butler. He makes YouTube videos. Check him out sometime. His account is MarcusButlerTV. He's hilarious and always does vids with my cousin and his friends." I explained simply. 

"Seems like a great guy" Niall said.

"He is....He is." We sat there, in silence once more.

"So Lexi, we were thinking of going to a party later tonight. You with?" Louis asked.

"I can't. Sorry. Marcus wants to take me out to dinner." I grinned once more. Just the sound of that made my heart flutter.

"D-do you like him?" Harry asked softly, not looking me in the eye. 

"Actually, I do. Funny story is...is that Jack, my cousin, knew we liked each other. So yesterday, we were playing a little game of truth or dare and Jack dared Marcus to kiss me. It was like no kiss I've experienced before. I forgot about everything around me and the only thing bringing me back to my senses were the claps from Jack." I gushed. Everyone glanced at each other. Harry looked as though he was ready to kill. This wasn't the reaction I was expecting. 

"Just thinking about it, I don't think I have anything to wear." I freaked. "I need to go to the mall. Anyone willing to go with me?" Two hands shot up. Louis and Zayn. Shopping buddies!!!

A/N: Uh oh! DRAMA!!! Lexi likes Marcus and Marcus likes Lexi. The only problem is that Harry is still in love with her. Tell her HAZ! Before it's too late! Tell Lexi! Don't loose her!!! haha so I'm gonna update later. Tomorrow or later this week. I'm tired :P Night guys!! Wake me up to something happy. Comment, fan, vote!
