Alix drew in a deep breath, strapping on her skates, helmet, and shield and hefting her sword, tucking the Black Book into her bag.

This was it.

The day for her duel with Miraak.

With nothing but a helmet, a shield, a sword that was too big for her, and her Thu'um.

If she followed through, there was no turning back.

She skated to school, nearing coming out in her classes, knowing that this would probably be her last day on earth.

When the final bell rang and it was time to leave, she skated up to the front of the class. It was no secret that she was Dragonborn and about her run-in with Miraak, but no one else in the school knew, not even the teachers or principal. Alix stared down at the floor, not daring to meet the class's gaze.

"Guys, it's been an honor. I appreciate all of you- well, most of you," she gave Lila and Chloe a death glare, "and I'm thankful for the times we've had together. And I wanted to say, I'm sorry."

"Sorry? For what?" Nino asked.

"There is a chance that none of you will ever see me again after today. And I wanted you to forgive me in case I do die. It's just... I... I'm not sure I can do this." Tears ran down her cheeks and her legs wobbled.

Alix could hear a chair scraping against the floor. Then Marinette's clear voice filled the air.

"Dragonborn, Dragonborn

  By her honor is sworn

To keep evil forever at bay

Alya joined in.

"And the fiercest foes rout

  When they hear triumph's SHOUT!

Dragonborn, for your blessing we pray!"

Nino and Adrien stood up and started singing.

"Hearken now, sons of snow, to an age long ago

And the tale, boldly told, of the one!"

Juleka, Rose, and Mylene stood up too.

"Who was kin to both wyrm

  And the races of man

With a power to rival the sun!"

Kim and Ivan stood up.

"And the Scrolls have foretold,

Of black wings in the cold,

That when brothers wage war come unfurled!

  Alduin, Bane of Kings,

  Ancient shadow unbound,

With a hunger to swallow the world!"

The rest of the class stood up.

"But a day, shall arise,

  When the dark dragon's lies

Will be silenced forever and then!

Fair Skyrim will be free from foul Alduin's maw!

  Dragonborn, Dragonborn

  By her honor is sworn

To keep evil forever at bay

  And the fiercest foes rout

  When they hear triumph's SHOUT!

Dragonborn, for your blessing we pray!"

Alix turned to look out the window, seeing Paarthurnax and Odahviing with encouraging expressions on their faces. A piece of paper was taped to the window that read "You can do this!"
