Dally's POV~

I ran to the Curtis house as soon as I got the call. I burst through the door and the gang looked distressed.

"Soda, did you tell him?" Darry said in a calm voice.

"Did she run away? Did she run away, Soda?" I asked once I caught my breath.

"I don't know." Soda replied, looking at his feet.

"If she ran away, if she ran away-" I broke down in tears. I slumped on the couch, not caring if the gang noticed me crying or not.

"Come back home." I cried.

Somebody laid a hand on my back but I brushed it off.

I got up and I looked around at everybody. Ponyboy was on the phone with authorities, Johnny was next to him shaking, Darry was pacing the floor, Two-Bit was downing beer after beer, Steve was no where to be seen, and Soda was stressed out, moving everywhere.

"I- I don't know! She was missing for two days, we thought she was with her friend!" Ponyboy exclaimed.

"Who- who did she say she was with?" I turned to Soda, anger filling my eyes.

"She just said a 'friend'." He refused to look at any of us.

"Yeah. Mhm. I'll send a photo in as soon as I can, sir. Thank you sir." Ponyboy hangs up to phone and runs his fingers through his hair.

"We'll find her, Dal." Ponyboy said as soon as he saw me.

I looked around the room. Everything looked as if it was spinning. I stood up quickly and I stumbled out of the house.

I couldn't lose my girl today.

"Dally!" Soda yelled out the door, "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to find her!" I yelled and I started to run. I don't know where the hell I was going, I just needed to know if I'd find her.

I ran for an hour. Not thinking straight. I needed to find her. If I didn't? I'd die. I'd join her in the 'missing' column in the paper.

I ended up stopping in the middle of Tulsa and I slid into an alley. I slid down the bricks and I put my fingers through my hair.

"God!" I yelled as loud as I could. My own voice scared me as much as it scared the passerby's.

I sat thinking for a good five minutes. Where the fuck could she be?

Then it came to me. She could be at the train station. I knew the train schedules like the back of my hand, and I knew that she could be there.

With the slight chance she could, I ran with it. It started to get dark out and as soon as I knew it, it started raining.

I approached the train station, and saw the train pull up. There was a line full of 50 people waiting to board, and I searched the line. I started to lose all of my hope when I didn't see her. I slumped down on a bench and let a tear slip. It was raining anyway.

I knew she was gone now, she must have gotten on a train earlier. I was horrified that I'd never see her again, knowing she had ran away because of me.

~flashback

"You can't just drown your fucking problems with booze and sex. And I sure as hell aren't gonna be the one you use for it!" She yelled in my face. I was trying real hard not to show my anger and regret.

"I'm not using you." I calmly say.

"As hell you aren't, Dallas! Every single time you get drunk you expect me to be your sex doll because you know that I'd be pissed if you did it with whoever the fuck downstairs!" She was pacing the floor now.

"Just calm down, alright?" I raise my voice a little more.

"C- calm down?! Me?! Fuck you, Dally, fuck you!" I started to let the anger grow in my face.

"I'm trying to be the civil one here!" I finally snap.

She looked at me like I had just shot a puppy. Her face quickly changed into rage.

"I'm sorry." I said in a calmer voice. I didn't want to fight, especially with her being pregnant.

The rage in her eyes turned into tears. I pulled her in and she sobbed into my chest. I stroked her hair as she sobbed.

"I'm sorry for yelling." She said.

"I know, baby." She pulled away and looked at me.

"Just- try to stop. Alright?" She said. I smiled and nodded.

But it didn't last long.

I ended up in the cooler two days later- only for an overnight. But as soon as I got out, Darry told me she had went to a friends house. A day later she still hadn't showed.

I felt horrible. I felt like everything was slipping out of my hands, and I wasn't gonna make it anymore. I looked up from my soaked hands and met her gaze.

I shot up and I quickly walked to her. She broke down in my arms and I started crying.

"I thought I lost you." I yelled as the soft rain turned into a violent pour.

"I'm sorry Dal." She said and looked at me. I kissed her then, I felt her soft, gentle lips against mine. I knew this is what I needed.

"Don't apologize to me, honey." I say and I lead her to the bench I was just at.

"I shouldn't have ran." She said and I saw her puffy red eyes.

I put my hand on her cheek and she held it. I smiled at her indicating that she was safe now.

"I thought I lost you and our baby, Doll, I don't know what I'd do without you guys." I looked down so she wouldn't see me crying. I looked up and stared at the neon Motel sign. I knew that's where I had to be. I grabbed her hand without saying anything and I walked us there. It was still pouring down violently and I got a room.

"I found her. We're alright. We're at a motel." I said to Darry over the phone. I heard sigh with relief.

"Our girl! She's been found!" He yelled. A wide smile crossed my face. I heard cheering. She was found.
