"Quit being so selfish and maybe we wouldn't be having this argument right now." I said, on the verge of tears.

"Yeah, maybe not." He said, in the same state as I and he walked out the door. I was confused on where he was going. Usually after fights, we make up and apologize. He'd been acting colder, like he was when we met. Not like he was the past two years.

I sobbed for the next two hours, wishing he'd just come back. Wishing he wouldn't have just stormed out that door like a child and come back to me and apologize like I would too.

I got up and dialed Darry's number. I just needed to talk.

"Hello?" Sodapop answered. I swallowed and tried to sound normal. "Hey Sodapop, is Ponyboy there?" I asked sweetly and he said "Hold on" and Pony picked up the phone.

"Hey y/n," He said. "Hey Pony can you talk?" I asked him and he said yeah. "Dally and I got into another fight." I said and I almost cried at that.

"Again? What was it this time?" He asked me and I sighed, trying not to cry. "He always forces me to do this he wants to do and never what I want to do, I called him out." I said and a tear fell. "I told him to quit being selfish and we wouldn't be having the argument and he left, I'm afraid he's not coming back."

"He will." Ponyboy said, but he was wrong. It was three weeks later, nobody had seen him. Not even the police, nor Buck or the gang. I lost my mind, I refused to see anybody.

I just missed him.

The only person I wanted to see was Ponyboy, he was younger than me but he was my best friend. He was sleeping over at my house and I was sleeping in today. I half woke up to somebody opening my bedroom door but I thought I was him. I felt somebody shake me awake and when I opened my eyes I saw Dallas.

I reached up and hugged him tight and wrapped my legs around him and he fell on the bed. He hid his face in the crook of my neck and I started to cry. "Don't do that ever again, I missed you so much." I said and he started to cry himself.

I pulled away and wiped his tears away and shakily kissed him and he smiled at me weakly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to leave you." He said and I shook my head.

"Just promise you won't do it again." I said and he nodded and I smiled again and hugged him again.
