I stumbled up the stairs of the infamous Curtis porch. I had been there a million times before, they're my boys but today it just seems so foreign.

I pushed open the door and Sodapop looked up at me.

"Gee, y/n, don't you look pretty today?" He said with a chuckle and I sarcastically laughed and flipped him off. I slumped down on the couch and rubbed my eyes before laying my head down on the arm rest.

"Hey- Jesus Christ, who's the dead body?" Dally said before sitting down next to me. I rolled my eyes and he sarcastically pouted, "Did I hurt ya feelings, doll?"

"Shut it, Winston." I said and laid my head back down. He put his hand on my shoulder and started gently massaging it.

"What happened to you?" Sodapop asked and felt my forehead before sitting back down.

"Haven't slept in months." I responded and he nodded. Dally pushed the unwashed hair that was in my face behind my ear and continued to rub my shoulder.

Darry came in and had the same reaction as the other two, including checking my temperature. He noticed the heavy bags under my eyes and checked my pupils.

"You need something to eat? Drink? Shower?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Man, Darry, lay off. I think she just needs sleep." Dally said and pulled me up to him. I snuggled close to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and rested my head on his chest.

"Well aren't you just being sweet," Darry responded and I heard Dallas let out a heavy sigh and I giggled a little bit.

"He's always sweet." I said quietly but I'm sure only he heard me.

"Y/n, wake up," Dally said groggily and I mumbled and looked at him. It was dark out and we were still on the Curtis' couch and he looked incredibly tired. The house was seemingly empty, so I assumed everybody else left and/or were sleeping. I gradually got up and stumbled to the door but nearly fell before he caught me. He hoisted me up with his muscular arm and led me outside.

"You sick or something?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Just sleep deprived." I responded and he pulled me up when I began to fall again.

"Honey, you're far too tired than you've been, and we've been together every day since April." He said and I only chuckled. I knew something was wrong with me, i've not been tired like this at all and I've been awake to nearly 3 am every night since Dal and I started going steady, back in April, now it being August.

"I'm fine, I just need to sleep." I said and he sighed his 'fine but don't come crawling to me when I'm right' sigh. He held me up all the way to his occasional bed at Buck's house. He didn't have anywhere else to go, so he led me up there and laid me down. I was weak, I felt terrible.

He crawled into bed next to me and stroked my hair and left a kiss on it and held me close.

"Wake me up if you feel any worse." He whispered.

"I swear I'm not sick." I said and he squeezed me.

"I'm just saying. You never know."

~~~
"Where am I?" I panicked as soon as I woke up, trying to move but the IV in my arm told me otherwise.
"You wouldn't wake up." Dally said and I looked at him with a feared expression covering my face.
"I must've scared you- I'm sorry baby- I don't know what-" I began but he cut my sentence short with a very loving and grateful kiss.
"Just shut up." He said with a grin. I relaxed a little before laying my head down on my pillow and rubbing my eyes.
"What's wrong with me?" I asked him and he slipped his fingers between mine. He smiled at me and played with my promise ring.
"Hypothyroidism, your thyroid isn't producing enough hormones, or some shit." He said and I laid my head down and looked at the ceiling.
"So? Am I okay?" I asked and he chuckled.
"You're fine, you just need to take a pill every morning." He said and I sighed of relief.
"Dally?" I looked at him and he looked up and met my gaze.
"Yes?" He responded.
"Kiss me." I said and he smiled and stood up and kissed me passionately.
A/N: this story I've written hits close to home because I have Hypothyroidism and I've had it since I was born. I initially didn't know what to diagnose y/n with but when I looked up "what causes extreme drowsiness" and I thought, "wow I should do this because I have it." So yeah, hope you enjoyed.
