"We'll be behind you!" I yelled as I left the house and jumped into our car.

"We ready?" Dally asked as he turned the key.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I smiled and he put the car in gear and drove off behind Darry and the boys. I turned on the radio and our favorite song started playing and he tapped the beat on the steering wheel while I sung along to the lyrics and he smiled and sung the chorus.

I loved seeing this side of Dally, happy and carefree, not holding his stupid head high for a 'rep'. He was happy, loving, and most importantly himself. And I was absolutely head over heels for him. Everybody always asks what I see in a guy like Dally, how he's so cold and tuff and scarred, but he's not.

"So where's the motel?" He asked halfway through the trip as I held his cigarette.

"Texhoma? It's right next to the Oklahoma Texas border, hence the name." I responded and he nodded. I yawned and took a drag from the cigarette and laid my head down on his lap. He looked down at my briefly before I handed him his cigarette back and he took one last drag and flicked it out the window and I closed my eyes.

"She already asleep, Dally?" Steve asked as I slowly woke up while Dally carried me into the motel.

"She's been out for 3 hours," He said quietly, trying not to wake me up. He struggled to open the door but when he did he pushed the door open with his foot and laid me down in the bed and I curled up as he covered me in blankets. He took his time undressing and joined me in the bed and I snuggled closer to him.

"Goodnight." I mumbled, barely able to keep my eyes open.

"Goodnight." He said and planted a kiss on my hair as he drifted off to sleep himself.

"Alright let's hit the road," He said while pushing me awake. I groaned and I crawled out of the bed and wrapped him in a morning hug, which I only do when I'm really tired. I hugged him tight and let my head rest against his chest as he picked me up and carried me to the car. I was in yesterday's clothes, but I didn't mind changing in the car.

"You lovebirds ready?" Darry yelled from his room.

"Yeah!" Dally yelled back but I scrunched up and he apologized. I felt like I had a hangover but I hadn't had a drink in weeks. I guess it was the foreign bed.

He put me in the car and I put my head on my arms on the dashboard and struggled to fight sleep. Dally got in the driver's seat and we sat and waited for everybody to come out.

"Two-Bit!" I whined out, "Two-Bittttttt!"

"What sweetheart?" He said, coming to my window. I put my head up and stared at him for a second.

"Gimme your flask." I demanded and Dally immediately protested.

"Nope, it's 7 am." I put my hand over his mouth and quickly grabbed the flask from Two-Bit and took a long drink from it. I handed it back meanwhile Dally was fighting my grip. I shook my head and opened my eyes, feeling awake from the kick of the whiskey he had in it.

"You're the best." I smiled at Two-Bit and he put the flask up as a 'no problem'.

"You're insane. Only you would take a swig of whiskey at 7 am." Dally said as he turned the ignition on.

"You love me." I smiled with my head leaned back on the bench seat and I moved closer to him and gave him a kiss.

"Eugh morning breath and whiskey." He complained and I just let out a laugh.

"You can't act like you've never done it." And he laughed, knowing it was true. I reached in the back seat and grabbed my bag, taking out a new sweater and a pair of nice sweatpants and started changing.
