A/N: lmao yes the Olivia Rodrigo song
Context: y/n and Dally are fighting, but Dally's afraid she's gonna be gone for good."Get out." Y/n said, pointing at the door.
"Don't be like that, Y/n." Dally whined, knowing he screwed up.
"Nope, no, I'm done." She said and she slumped down on the couch. He tried comforting her, but she pulled away.
"Know that I loved you so bad, I let you treat me like that. I was your willing accomplice honey."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Dally said, pacing the room, trying to look her in the eyes.
"It's like you fucking knew. It's like- it's like I watched you. Doe-eyed as you buried me. Right now it feels like one heart is broken, but four hands are bloody. Don't you understand?" She started to break down, but she held herself together.
"All the things I did! Just so I could call you mine!" Dally yelled at her. Sick and tired of hearing her go on about the damage he put her through.
"All the things you did! Well I goddamn hope I was your favorite crime!" She yelled back. He stepped back but stood his ground.
"You used me as an alibi, I crossed my heart every time you crossed the line. And I had to defend you to my friends!" She continued.
"And now every time a siren sounds, I'll wonder if you're around!"
"You know that I'd do it all again." They said at the same time, barely above a whisper. Only enough for both of them to barely hear.
"It's bittersweet to think about the damage that we do," She said in the same tone.
"Because I am going down, but I am doing it with you." Dally said, also in the same tone.
"Everything that we broke and all the trouble that we made," It bothered him that she was talking about their relationship in the past-tense. He wanted to show that bother by talking like they're still together. Because he hoped and prayed they were.
"But I still say I hate you with a smile on my face." She said and he looked at her, she was broken on the floor, sobbing.
"Look what we became!" She cried.
Dally slid down the wall and put his hands in his hair. He looked up and saw her, a broken pile of glass just sitting on the floor, he knew what he had to do.
He crawled to her and sat next to her and cried with her. He laid his hand across her back and laid his head against his arm and cried.
She quickly turned and hugged his torso and dug her head into his chest. He hugged her back and continued to cry.
"Is this the end of us?" He said, trying to hold himself together.
"Are you gonna keep coming home drunk, after hooking up with some girl?" She said, rubbing her nose with her sweater sleeve.
"Baby, you're the only girl I'll ever need." He said, holding her face.
"You said that last time!" She cried out and let a tear slip.
"Now that I've almost lost you I think I know how much I want you." He said, and quickly looked away as the tear fell down his face.
"Do you promise?" She pleaded.
"Of course I promise." He said and she dove in for another hug.
He hadn't lost her, yet.
