She sat for months wondering what happened that night. Wondering, why she felt that connection with her best friend.

He knew it was wrong yet he wanted to feel her lips against his once more. He wanted to kiss her like he did that night, and not to make Sylvia jealous- god, Sylvia was just a memory to him now.

She felt guilty about everything, how she'd been subtly avoiding him, how she'd been trying so hard not to show him that she'd been thinking about it.

And he knew that. He knew that she was trying not to bring it up but it was eating away at him. He never felt this way about somebody but he didn't want to show that.

She'd been ignoring his calls, when he'd show up at her door she wouldn't answer, he even tried to pick her up from school one day but she pretended like she didn't see him. She spoke to him, just not one-on-one.

He hated this. He'd been to her house six times in 2 months trying to get her to talk to him. He'd called her even more times than that and even tried to pick her up. She was avoiding him at all costs, and he hated it.

She laid sprawled out on the floor reading her favorite book for the sixth time this year. Whilst doing so, he bloomed a brilliant idea. He climbed up to her bedroom window, which she always kept open when it was hot, and he sat in silence and watched her.

So peaceful, he didn't want to disrupt it. But he had to. He climbed in and purposefully knocked over a photo on her nightstand. She turned around in fear and nearly murdered him. "Jesus Christ Dallas, what the hell! You scared the shit out of me." She said and threw her book at him. He caught it and looked at it. The same one, again? He thought to himself. He carefully put it down on the desk and she uncomfortably sat down and looked at her feet.

"Doll?" He asked and she cleared her throat and looked at him. "What do you want?" She tried to stay calm and he knew she was trying. "It's been 2 months, you've been avoiding me." He crossed his arms and she kicked her feet.

"You know damn well why I've been avoiding you." She said and looked at him and made eye contact. There it was again, that feeling. He sighed and looked away. "That was just making Sylvia jealous I don't know why you're so hooked on it." She stood up and faced him.

"You're telling me that was nothing? You've broken into my house just to tell me that was nothing?" She fired at him and he was pretending to act fine. when in reality, his heart was pounding.

"I didn't break in." He said and she pushed him. "Get out! There's no reason for you to be here!" She yelled and he continued to stand there.

"I'm not leaving." He stated and she started to get mad. She looked back at him and they made eye contact. She felt the sensation again. She grabbed him and kissed him and then pulled away and he looked at her. He pulled her back in and it happened again. The spark.

She pulled away and he smiled at her. "You're gonna tell me that's nothing when you pulled me back in." She said and he shook his head and smiled.

"Maybe it was something after all." He said and he kissed her again.
