A/N: y/d/n = your dad's name.

I turned on my fan and sat in my bed that was against my window. I opened a book and sat under my covers for warmth and began reading.

I got a good 10 pages in before I heard rustling outside my window and tapping. I crawled over and pushed it open and saw Dally smiling at me.

"Dally, are you crazy? I told you only to come over at my moms!" I whisper yelled at him.

My parents were divorced, and my dad absolutely hated Dally and thought we broke up.

"I missed you, Doll." He smirked and I opened my screen and made eye contact with him again.

"I can't let you in, Dal. He thinks we broke up." I said, looking at my door, hoping my dad wouldn't burst in like he always did.

"Then sneak out, if you don't come back he can't yell at you." He whispered knowing my schedule, that I'd be going to my mother's house the next day.

I sighed and looked at my clothes, glad that I hadn't changed into my pajamas yet. I jumped off my bed and grabbed my shoes and wallet and jumped out. I closed my window and screen and ran through the woods behind my house to the road and got in his car where it was parked.

He always knew when my dad knew we were together to park outside the woods behind my house so my dad didn't know he was even around. I lived in the outskirts of town, so it was harder to see him because he didn't have a car.

"Where are we going?" I asked him as he had one hand on the wheel and the other on my thigh.

"Somewhere," He replied dryly and I sighed and put my hand over his and held it.

He parked the car on the side of an empty one-lane road and opened my door for me. I got out and smiled at him.

"What a gentleman," I said and he scoffed. I took his hand and he led me to where he'd planned to bring me. It was an opening to a lake and he sat down and overlooked the beautiful view. The moon hit the lake just right and glowed off.

I sat down next to him and laid my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me and squeezed my shoulders and I just admired it.

"This is beautiful, where'd you find this place?" I asked and he just softly hummed.

"I was bored and just drove one day." He sat and laid a kiss on my head.

"I always knew I wanted to bring you up here," He said after a long silence period.

"I'm glad you did," I responded, and hugged closer to him as the breeze hit.

He pulled away from me and pulled his black leather jacket off and put it around my shoulders and I slipped my arms through the long sleeves and he pulled me in and I looked at him with a smiled and I kissed him.

I pulled away so our faces were inches apart and I whispered, "I missed you."

"Me too," He said and gave me another kiss. I pulled away and put my head back on his shoulder.

We sat like that for ten minutes just admiring the lake and each other's presence and it was so peaceful.

That was until I felt myself be pulled up roughly and I look at my father and he had the most angry look on his face shooting daggers and Dallas. Thank god Dally wasn't smoking right now. I thought as my dad started shouting.

"I knew you were out with this hood!" He screamed and held tightly onto my shoulder.

His voice scared me and I had knots in my stomach, putting my hand behind my back so Dally could secretly grab it.

"Not only did you lie to me, you snuck out too!" He yelled more and I squeezed tightly onto Dally's hand and closed my eyes as he shouted.

"This is what you get for not letting me be happy!" I shouted back and my dad was so appalled by this and his already rage covered face turned angrier.

"You see what he's done to you? You! If you ever lay another hand onto my daughter, I'll put a bullet through your skull!" He shouted at Dally. I looked at Dally with scare on my face and he smirked and took his hand that I was holding and ran it up my back to my shoulder.

I smiled on the inside knowing he wasn't gonna put up with his bullshit and wasn't scared of him, but I still had my scared expression on my face.

My dad took him by the collar of his shirt and punched him. Dally started to get angrier but he didn't fight back, which I was surprised by.

"You think you're real funny huh?" He said and Dally just smiled at him with blood running down his face from his nose.

"Hitting a minor now? Drunk driving too? Double whammy, y/d/n. Be a shame if I walked away and called the cops," He said and my dad took his hands off his shirt knowing what he'd done.

"Y/N, go to the car." He instructed me but I walked to Dally and hugged his arm.

"Now you're not listening to me? I said get to the car, don't be a smart ass!" He spit in my face but I held on harder, and Dally looked at me.

"He's right, dad." I said with a smirk. He hesitated and huffed and stepped closer and I tensed up to Dally.

"You see what you do to her? You're a sick bastard, y/d/n. Go run off and drink your life away while I decide whether or not to press charges against your sorry ass." Dally said while hugging me.

"I'm not done with you, asshole." My dad said before storming off to his car.

I hugged Dally and started crying while he kissed my head and held me. I was shaking from fear and he knew that we had to go.

He guided me to his car and I cozied up next to him while he drove me to his place so I'd have a place to stay. When we arrived I laid in his bed while he called the police and pressed charges.

When he came back up he got into bed and held me as I continued to cry out of fear. I knew this was never gonna be over, but I was grateful Dally was with me through it.
