"You sure?" I asked but she pushed me out of the door. "Maybe we'll stop by later but I got it." She told me and Adeline ran to the door. "Bye Daddy! Have fun!" She said and I got down to my knees and she hugged me. "I'll be back around 8, okay?" I said and they waved bye to me and I walked to my car. They're alright.

I arrived and everybody said hi and passed me a beer and we played poker. I won three times and everybody got all pissy about it.

"Come on Dal you do this like, every weekend!" "That's not fair!" "What's done is done boys, you owe me $35."

Everybody made their rounds and gave me the money when we heard a knock on the door. Y/n walked in and sat down next to us. "Where's Addy?" I whispered and she smiled. "She's at Andrew's." She told me and I got a little angry.

"You dropped my daughter off at that boy's house?" I said and she shrugged. "He's her friend, he invited her over." She said. I stood up and took her arm and dragged her outside.

"Baby, I don't like this," I told her and she got angry. "She can be friends with boys Dally, I'm friends with the gang, what's wrong with that?" She tried to push passed me but I stopped her.

"You didn't even tell me." I said and she looked at me and nearly slapped me. "She's my daughter too, Dallas. I can make these decisions."

"What if this boy has more intentions?" I raised my voice. "Dally he's six years old!" She yelled and I kind of laid back. Yeah. They're six. What could go wrong.

"I'm just trying to watch out for her. I'm sorry." I said and she kissed my cheek. "I know. And I appreciate it." She said and I smiled and we went back into the house.
