He laid with his head on my stomach. He ran his hand back and forth and I could feel him steadily breathing.

"Mmm, doll." He mumbled and I looked down at him. "Yes?" I responded and ran my fingers through his hair. He smiled and took a deep breath.

"I love you." He mumbled again and I giggled. "I love you too." He moved his hands up more and rubbed back and forth before shooting up. I looked at him puzzled and he felt my stomach again.

He was feeling my ribs. I was not skinny, I always had a bit of chub on me so you could never really feel my ribs.

"Why the hell can I feel your ribs?" He asked and I started to get uncomfortable. I shifted out of bed and I walked out of his bedroom. "Baby come back!" He called out and I went into the bathroom.

I shut the door and I sat on the edge of the tub and sighed. I wasn't supposed to be doing this again. I took my clothes off and I stood on my scale. 127.3lb.

That's 20 dropped, I was so incredibly disappointed. I sat down again after clothing and I heard a knock on the door. "Doll?" He said from the other end. He slowly opened the door and saw me.

"I'm fine- j- just working out more, that's all." I mumbled and wiped my tears and pushed passed him. He followed me and grabbed my wrist and spun me around. "Why?" He asked.

"Why do you care? You always go for the skinny ones." I spun back around and I grabbed my jacket. "Where are you going?" He asked and I shrugged.

"Wherever I can go." I walked out of the house and he scrambled to put his shoes on and ran after me. "What the hell? I didn't mean it in a bad way, I'm just looking out for you!" He called out behind me and I didn't turn around. "I know." I replied just enough for him to hear.

"Baby!" He yelled and I stopped. He ran up to me and spun me around and saw the tears running down my cheeks. He wrapped me in a hug and just let me cry into him. I was weak right now, sick.

"I'm sorry. I thought you wouldn't like me if I'm fat." I cried and he just quieted me. "Let's go home." He whispered and I nodded and we silently walked back. He gently brought me inside and sat me down on the couch.

"You better start eating shit because it makes me sad and I hate being fucking sad." He said and I smiled and started to laugh. He looked at me confused and all I did was lay on him.

"You're a piece of shit sometimes, but most of the time you're the only thing I could ever ask for." I said and he stroked my hair. "Yeah that's right doll, don't forget it." He replied and I started to laugh.

He walked in with his arm around me. We sat down and he looked at me, nervously looking around the place.

"It's not that scary, just remember the first time I took you here." He whispered and I sighed and looked out the window.

I was hugging his arm and he was telling me all the people he had beat up around here. It was the first time he had ever brought me here and I was excited to see one of his favorite places.

The door bell rang as we walked in and a couple people looked up. "Hey- Dallas!" The guy from the counter exclaimed. "Haven't seen you around in a while,"

"Yeah sorry 'bout that man. Hey- can I get a basket of fries?" He asked and tapped on the counter. I sat down in a booth and soon he joined me after consulting with his buddy.

"They really do know you around here, huh?" I said and I looked around the place and smiled. "Yeah, it's just great, isn't it?" He tapped his fingers on the booth before sitting forward and looking at me.

"If my ex walks in, just ignore her." He said and I nodded. The food came surprisingly quickly and we shared a great lunch.

He ordered a basket of fries and I nervously picked at them. He watched me and I finally put one in my mouth and it felt like a relief. Soon enough, I ate the entire basket and he smiled at me.

"I knew you could do it, honey." He said and I smiled and looked down. I felt his hand grab mine from under the table and I looked at him and he was still smiling at me.
