~ATHENA POV~

I stood in my room as I finished my painting.

I looked out the window as I saw a boy talking with my dad

I looked out the window as I saw a boy talking with my dad. So he can talk to some random boy but not his own daughter? I thought bitterly. My dad and I never really had the best relationship. He always favored Sam over me. Hell, he even liked Anthony more.

My mom and I got along a little better. She didn't ignore me like Dad did. I looked more like my dad then I did my mom though. I had long charcoal brown curly hair, my skin was tanned and I ha chocolate brown eyes.

I had a few friends at school. Aisha, Eli, Demitri and the new kid, Miguel Diaz. Miguel, Aisha and Eli had joined a dojo called Cobra Kai re-opened by Johnny Lawrence, a.k.a my dad's enemy. I've heard the story of how dad kicked him in the face with his Crane Kick.

I walked out of my room and looked at all of my other painting on the wall. I walked outside as I saw Dad and Sam in the backyard talking. I rolled my eyes as I started walking down the side walk. I wasn't paying attention when I felt myself colliding with someone causing us both to fall.

I grunted as I looked up and saw the boy who was talking to my dad earlier.

"Watch it." I hissed.

The boy looked up and glared. He had long shoulder length soft blonde hair, golden tanned skin and dark brown eyes. He was good looking, not gonna lie. But he glared harshly at me.

"Me? You weren't paying attention." He spat.

Before I could say anything more, my dad came out.

"Robby, Athena," Dad said. "See you've met each other. Robby this is my daughter Athena. Athena this is one of my employs Robby Keene."

I think dad expected us to shake hands or something but I just gave him a sarcastic smile. He gave one right back.

"Sorry dad," I spoke, saying 'dad' bitterly. "I have to go Aisha invited me over."

Before either could say a word, I ran down the side walk towards Aisha's house.
