~RIDER POV~

I had been out walking with Tory to get to know her since she was my sister's best friends. I glanced in front of me, feeling myself go a bit rigid when I saw who was in front of me.

"What's wrong?" Tory asked, glancing in front of me. "Oh, it's them. You've got history with them too?"

"That's my—" I glanced up at Tory as I spoke. "Their my father and sister."

Tory's face went blank as she nodded. Slowly walking up to them, I just stood behind her, not really being able to hear what their saying.

"It doesn't matter. We're prepared for anything Silver throws our way."

Tory smirked, turning behind her to look at me. I walked into view, and Sam and Daniel's mouths dropped open.

"Rider?"

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" I asked.

Dad's face was hilarious. His face paling drastically, and he stepped backwards. Shaking his head, he said, "What are you doing here? I thought you were still at boarding school."

"Well it's quite funny interesting actually," I said tilting my head. "Uh, Aunt Suzanne came and picked me up one day, telling me who she was and how big of a fucking dick you actually are, though I already knew that because you sent me away for no reason. So she brought me to live with her, and she lives in a nice fucking house. So I lived with her, until coming here."

Dad stared at me, a strange looking over coming his face. "Have you gone to see—"

"Athena?" I interrupted. "Yeah, I have. She didn't know who I was at first, but I told her. She was quite shocked."

"H-How isshe?"

I shared a look with Tory. "That's a stupid fucking question. It's not like you care, anyways."

"Rider Daniel you better tell me, or—"

"Or what?" Tory cut in. "You gonna ground him?"

Dad didn't say anything, but Sam snapped at her. "Can't you just butt out? This doesn't involve you."

"Well it's not involving you either, princess. So why don't you just butt out as well?"

"Girls," Dad snapped. "Rider, please, just tell me."

I rolled my eyes. "She's Fine. Except for today she came back with her hand all bloody and bruised, punching and kicking at the punching bag mumbling about 'a man can't stand he can't fight' 'a man breathe he can't fight' and 'a man can't see he can't fight'."

Dad's face went even more pale. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but couldn't. I smirked, it was fun to see dad this upset over his kids he didn't even care about.
