~RIDER POV~

I had been walking in the park, not paying attention to my surroundings, but to my phone, trying to text Athena back, when someone harshly collided into my shoulder. I quickly had to catch my phone before it fell and shattered. "Shit!"

"Sorry,"

I looked up at the person who bumped into me and frowned slightly. "Watch it, Samantha."

She looked up at me shocked, and backed up a little bit, her hands becoming fists. 

"Do you really want to fight? If you couldn't beat Athena when you nearly broke her knee, then you sure as hell aren't going to beat me."

Sam's face dropped a little. "She told you?"

"No, Kenny did."

"You know he bullies Anthony, right? Your brother?"

I let out a sarcastic laugh. "He doesn't even know who I am! Athena didn't even know who I was until I showed her the picture!"

Sam didn't say anything for a moment, her eyes changing emotions. "How is she?"

"Don't fucking act like you care," I scoffed. "From what I heard, you made her life hell, you didn't tell Mom and Dad when she fell off the top balcony at school, you nearly broke her knee, and a ton of more shit that I can't even name!"

Sam's face fell, but then it quickly hardened. "I want to patch things up with her. I was a complete and utter bitch. She deserves a better sister."

"Hell yeah she does. You don't deserve her at all, neither does that Keene boy." I gave Sam a little sarcastic smile. "You can tell him that too. Tell him to stay the fuck away from her, and keep his psychotic sister away from her too."

"Rider," Sam said, stepping forward. "I need you to tell Athena I'm sorry."

I shook my head, also taking a step forward. "I'm not telling her shit."

"Rider," Sam said. "Where were you really? And don't give me that bullshit excuse that you were in boarding school. I know that's where you were at first, but that's not where you were last was it?"

I clenched my jaw as I glanced away. "I was in juvie. I ended up there after a horrible fight at school. But Aunt Suzanne did come and pick me up and bring me to live with her, that part was true."

Sam scanned me, before she said, "You need to stay away from Athena."

I paused, looking down at her. I tilted my head slightly, and she glared at me. "You're a bad influence. You're getting into her head, she's already brainwashed enough from Silver and Aunt Suzanne, but you're just adding to it."

I shrugged. "So what?"

Sam stepped forward, her glare darkening. "Håll dig borta från henne."

"Vad händer om jag inte gör det?"

"Då tar jag med helvetet."

"Fortsätt och försök."

I glared at Sam and she glared back. Nothing more was said between the two of us, and finally we went our separate ways.
