Love Is A Choice

Perth blushes red at Suthapong's teasing. He recalls a few of his actions last night, actions that made him question his life choices.

Perth's POV
(Disclaimer: Perth will be thinking mostly in English so I tried writing in the way Perth Nakhun would say in his accent.)

*****

"Don't leave... Don't leave... Stay with me... Pleaseeeee"

"I want you ... to be happy... but, can I hug you for one night?? I promise I'll distance myself again and not bother you..."

I leaned in and kissed that dude's neck!! I don't know who he is, but I freaking kissed his neck!!

And then... I was whisked away into a bedroom with a musky scent. The entire place was dark. Who the heck doesn't turn on their lights??

I remembered a deep kiss. And then a deeper kiss with hands grabbing on my wrists. I remembered liking the kiss. A kiss that was given by a stranger. Well, not exactly a stranger but seriously, I don't know who the heck I kissed!

*****

I shake my head unconsciously at the thoughts of last night's flashback. I try so freaking hard to remember the arms that held me and the body that pressed against mine. And then, stare at both men in front of me.

They are both freakishly huge and tall! One makes me think I should not make him an enemy, and one makes me think I should make him a good friend. I shake my head again, not wanting to invite more memories of men into my mind.

"Are you always this absent-minded when you're deep in thought?" Suthapong's amused voice enters. I blink and see them staring at me with ... interest?

"I'm guessing we need to teach you how to speak proper Thai..." Thanawat comments with a hint of sarcasm I detect. I blink again. He has a nice voice, smooth and calming; unlike the usual demeanour he shows to people.

"Finish your coffee. Let's go," Suthapong orders. I tilt my head. Is he chasing me out? Sending me back to my room? "We're bringing you around Bangkok. Don't worry. We won't leave you again." Suthapong smirks at me, making my stomach feel queasy.

They both stand up and walk to the door, waiting for me to follow. I slowly follow them, still unsure of where they are taking me. I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn, meeting Thanawat's finely broad chest. He holds the painkillers I had forgotten and a glass of water in his hand.

"Take. Drink."

He always says things straight to the point. Short and quick. He brushes against my fingers as the pills drop onto my palm. I take them in one gulp and finish the water. He takes the glass from me and sets it on the table before nodding with a small smile.

"Let's go."

Another short sentence. I follow him out of the apartment and we meet Suthapong in the parking lot, leaning against the car. He opens the back door and gestures to me to get in before hopping in the passenger seat as Thanawat slides into the driver's seat.

The car ride is silent. Suthapong is checking his phone for something. Thanawat is driving with a stern expression. I am just sitting in the middle seat, trying not to make a sound. I release a shaky breath as my stomach knots tighter in nervousness.

"Found it!!"

I jump, hitting my head as Suthapong shouts in the car. Thanawat shoots him a glare and turns to me, his stare softening. "Are you okay? Does it hurt?"

I nod, lost in his smooth voice. I catch Suthapong's grin and look down. This is weird. What is happening? Why does Suthapong always look at me like he knows something?
