Chapter 71: Saving Duncan

The MIFT members were still trying to figure out how to save Duncan.

"Please! Let me out of here!" Duncan shouted.

"We've got to save him!" Val said.

"Okay. How?" Tylor asked.

Val thought about it, gasped, then told him, "You!"

"Me?" Tylor questioned.

"You may not be the best MIFTer at fixing stuff, but you're pretty good at breaking it," Val pointed out.

"Thanks. I think," Tylor replied.

"I think what Val means is that sometimes in order to fix things, you gotta break things," Jamie clarified.

"Yeah. So, get out there and fix-break Vendy Two," Val replied.

Tylor looked at the machine before putting his game face on and went toward the vending machine.

"Yeah, do your worst!" Fritz said.

"Double T!" Val cheered.

"Really mess things up!" Cutter added.

"Somebody let me out! It's not as spacious as it looks!" Duncan yelled.

"Time to get to work," Tylor said.

Then he roared as he tore the vending machine apart, making the others hide back in the office.

"Whoa, he really would've made a great Scarer," Cutter commented.

"You're right about that," Jamie smiled.

"Get back!" Fritz warned.

It took a minute for things to calm down, but when it did, the MIFT members came out to see Tylor holding Duncan.

"I'll never remove a doohickey again," Duncan said dramatically then exclaimed in disgust.

"Ooh, yeah! Double T! Double T!" Val cheered.

"All right! That was some top-notch destruction, Muscles!" Cutter told him.

"That was some good MIFT-ing!" Val added with a whistle.

"That was awesome, Tylor!" Jamie shouted while hugging his neck.

"Come on. Thanks, guys," Tylor smiled, returning Jamie's hug.

"It was fine, it was okay. At best," Duncan remarked, getting out of Tylor's arms.

"Typical," Jamie rolled her eyes

"I, uh...I've got some news I need to share with all of you," Fritz informed sadly.
