Mike, Sulley, and Y/N were just walking down the hall after the power came back on.
"So I said to Celia, 'Listen, order mine with the mildew on the side, I'm watching my shape...'" Mike explained.
"Mike! Sulley! Y/N! She's back!" Celia called from down the hall.
The three monsters in charge went in their office to see Roz, but instead of a CDA jacket, she had a M.E.R.C. jacket.
"Yikes!" Mike exclaimed and tried to leave.
"Mike..." the couple remarked, stopping him, so he turned around.
"Roz, so nice of you to gross us with your presence. You've been oozing weight," Mike commented.
"The Monstropolis Energy Regulatory Commission has determined you're not generating enough power," Roz said.
"You work for M.E.R.C. now?" Mike asked.
"There's a lot about me you don't know," Roz remarked.
"Roz, laugh power's ten times more powerful than scream," Sulley pointed out.
"The commission isn't convinced it's reliable. Therefore, we're transferring all power needs to Fear Co.," Roz explained.
"But Fear Co. still uses scare power," Y/N objected.
"We won't go down without a fight. We can provide all the power the city needs," Mike declared.
"There's gotta be a way we can prove it," Sulley said.
"Sure, guys. But it's not like we can generate a million gigglewatts in a day," Mike replied.
"It's a deal!" Roz stated.
"Deal? What deal? I made a deal?" Mike asked in a panic.
"Generate a million gigglewatts in one day, and laugh power is saved," Roz said.
"But we only generate half that now," Sulley replied.
"Just give us time to figure out the laughgistics," Mike requested.
"Tomorrow," Roz told them.
"Tomorrow?" the couple questioned.
"Right, well..." Mike chuckled nervously then added, "That gives us plenty of today time."
"Let's hope we can think of something," Y/N sighed.
