***A/N*** Hey guys! I know I don't usually post on Thursdays but my manager let me go home early so I was able to finish the chapter that I started last night! Also, let me know if you'd rather have a George POV or a Walter POV next! I love getting your opinion on what I should publish next!
I'll be back next Tuesday for sure but if I have a bit of spare time, I might be able to squeeze another update in before then. Love you lots! xx
--------------------------
I walk through the flat in nothing but sleeping shorts and one of Travis' jumpers and head into the kitchen.
It's been a long month I can tell you that one for free.
I've been trying to go over to Violet's to help out with baby Fred as much as I can, especially now that they're both working in the shop, and every time I get back Travis gets annoyed with me.
He'll say things like, 'I just don't understand why someone else's kid is more important than I am,' or 'don't get any ideas while you're over there' and my personal favourite, 'maybe next time you should just stay there since you love them more than me.'
I start the kettle to make some tea and I go into the kitchen for breakfast things. Travis likes to have breakfast made and plated for him by the time he gets up every morning. He hates cooking for himself.
I can't turn the radio on when I cook anymore either. Travis hates it, says it's distracting and there's no real point in music anyways.
I don't know what happened to the sweet man that I went on that date with. It's like as soon as he started living with me everything changed and he started to treat me like a maid more than anything else. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but he's better than Elliott so I can't complain.
It takes me about half an hour to make an omelette with sausage hashbrowns. Travis comes out of the bedroom and sets up at the dining table, "What're you wearing?" he asks me. No good morning, how are you, last night was pretty great. Nothing.
"Your shirt? I didn't want to turn on a light to find something of mine in case I woke you," I say as I bring the plate I made for him over to the table.
He looks down at it, "No HP sauce?"
"Oh, sorry, my mistake," I get up from the table to get the sauce.
"And a tea? Christ Emma, what is this?" He calls.
I make the tea just how he likes it and bring both the sauce bottle and the tea out to him. He takes a sip, smacks his lips together, then starts to eat, "If you think for a second you're going over to that baby in my clothes you have another thing coming," He looks up at me, "You're not getting baby shit on my clothes Emma."
"I wasn't planning on it," I say to him.
He grunts, "And you better not come back here smelling the way you did last time. I don't need my flat smelling like literal shit."
"My flat," I say under my breath.
"What was that?" Travis asks.
I shake my head, "Just said yes of course dear,"
He looks at me hard but doesn't say anything else, just goes back to his breakfast. I get up from the table and go into the kitchen to clean the mess I made when I was cooking. Travis hates messes but he can never seem to clean up after himself. Lucky for him though I don't mind cleaning, or cooking, or doing laundry.
"I was thinking," I say to him as go out into the dining room to get his dirty dishes. That's another thing, Travis was raised in a muggle house so he hates when I do magic for simple chores like cleaning. Says it makes me lazy and he refuses to have a lazy girlfriend, "We should do something special this weekend, just you and me."
