***A/N*** hey everyone! How are you all? This was supposed to go out around Christmas but I got a bit distracted with family and work but hey ho. I'm going to try and get at least another chapter out this week because next week my best friend is coming to stay with me and I haven't seen them in a few years. This chapter contains some pretty heavy things so please be respectful in the comments and take care of yourself. I'll see you all soon. Toodles xx

"George! I need you to watch the girls so I can get the cake ready!" I scream from the flat down into the shop.

It's Darcy's first birthday today, Emma's bringing him over later, expecting it to just be us, Walter, and Lee. Little does she know I've managed to get every one of the Weasley's over for his big day.

"Mumumumumumumumumumum," Freddie says, tugging my pants leg, "Leah's not in the spot where you left her."

"What do you mean she's not in the..." I turn around and Ophelia has somehow managed to get herself out of the playpen we have in the kitchen and is crawling away laughing her little head off.

"Merlin, Freddie, make sure she doesn't kill herself," I turn back to the open front door of the flat, "GEORGE!"

A loud POP! comes from behind me, followed promptly by Cassiopeia screaming and Freddie laughing.

"What seems to be the issue?" George asks. He takes Cassie from the playpen and holds her in the air in front of him, "It's alright bubba, it's just me! It's just Daddy!"

Freddie toddles back into the room, he's half carrying, half dragging Ophelia over to me, "Wanted to climb up t-h-e counters," Freddie pronounces the word 'the' very slowly, trying to make sure that he gets his 'th's perfect. It didn't bother George or me that he couldn't do that quite yet. But it sure as hell bothered Freddie when he learned that James could do it.

I take Ophelia from Freddie and give her to George, "Please just... take them somewhere, all of them."

"But I want to say wi-th you Mumma," Freddie juts out his bottom lip, "Please, please, please?"

George laughs, "Mumma needs to get ready for Darcy's surprise party bub. GO get your shoes on and we can go to the park."

"Cans I brings a football?" Freddie's eyes light up.

"Bring your broom too, we can do some tricks while your sisters play in the sand,"

Freddie laughs and goes to get his shoes, George looks at me and smiles, "Don't get too worked up about it my love, it's a birthday party for a one-year-old,"

"And we're going to have two one year old's in two months time," I remind him.

George gasps and holds Cass and Leah closer to him, "Don't say that. They're not one."

"Their birthday is in November Georgie,"

"But they're my babies! They can't grow up so fast!"

I laugh and go over to my husband to give him a kiss, "All babies grow up at some point."

George grumbles, "Not if we keep having them,"

"In your dreams Weasley,"

He smirks, "My dreams mostly consist of the baby-making activities and less of the actual raising of children."

I laugh and swat his arm, careful not to accidentally clip Leah.

"Ready Daddy!" Freddie says, coming back over to us. His gloves are on the wrong hands and his hat is turned inside out, but at least he's got the zipper of his coat done up by himself.
