Chapter 41 - Going home

After the meeting I was pretty sure that Marco and Isabella like each other more than they think they do. Just by the look in his eyes reminded me of myself when I was looking at Diego, desperately wanting to be with him.

I'm really glad about it because it seems like for them it's going to work out better than for us at first.

- I'm still slightly surprised - I said after me and Diego arrived back to me apartment - But I'm happy for him!

- Why are you surprised?

- Well... I just wasn't expecting him to just introduce both of us to a woman that he likes this much already - I replied quickly.

I know. I didn't tell him what he really said to me a few weeks earlier, but I didn't want him to get suspicious and either to do something stupid as I know him enough to know he'd do something.

- I see - he mumbled - Well, hopefully it will work out for him.

- Yeah - I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck - But you just care about our relationship to work out, okay?

- Yeah... Okay - he smiled back as he pulled my closer by my waist and kissed me softly on the lips - I'll be the best boyfriend you can imagine!

- I hope so - I smirked - Because this is your last chance!

- Oh! Is that so? - he gasped, a bit surprised, but then he smirked cheekily then grabbed my butt - How about I start it now?

- Oh, well... You better do it then - I giggled as he did it, but before I could say, or do anything else he picked me up and threw me on the bed then getting on top of me he began to kiss me passionately which I returned right away.

And soon we got ready and after saying goodbyes to every people that I was close to we got on the plane and headed back to Buenos Aires.

On the plane...

- Are you happy? - Diego asked after a while of just me leaning my head on his shoulder.

- Yes... - I mumbled - I'm happy to be with you again... - I said then looked up at him - And now we're officially together... How could I not be happy?

He smiled and kissed my forever gently.

- I love you so much... I'll love you and protect you forever, I promise... - he said with a warm smile that just made me melt.

- Did you see Annalise since you two broke up? - I asked him.

- No, I didn't - he replied - And I'll never go to see her...

- No, no! - I laughed - I didn't mean on the jealous way... But since she came to shout at me she probably will come and try to get you back as well...

- Well... She can try... But it won't really work - Diego smirked as he leaned closer to me and kissed my forehead gently - My heart only beats for you and will only beat for you - he said and I melted once again.

- You're too cute...!

- And I'll be even cuter once we arrived home!

- Can't wait to see that - I giggled and I kissed him softly on the lips - I love you...

- I love you too, my princess - he smiled warmly and after that we were all quiet for the rest of the way home.
